Leonardo Colozza the candles are actually fake. they are called Luminare candles. the first time I saw them I thought they were real as well. they are super cool

Hi Con, For that two little lights at front, you don't have to put the soundbar behind the TV, just put anything from your household things in front of those lights to block them. Of course that thing must be black in color to match the soundbar and must be tiny so that it don't block the soundbar speakers.

Just got this one for 200.00 bestbuy. Sounds great.

Mine is on the way. It will be used for listening to records.

I don't have ARC or ACR (whatever that is) on my TV. Can I connect with an optical cable?

Great review, thank you. Was going to buy some tv speakers as i have the same issue with my samsung tv speakers face towards wall which is stupid... Was choosing between different options however will go with this soundbar as it is compact and my tv is not huge only 32 inches and most soundbars have crazy 85-95 cm soundbars... This one is actually only 55 cm which is great for me. I love bose have them in my car and everytime i listen to anymusic or radion i just think... wow those speakers are just sooo good and i have this car for over 4 years and still everytime i am just pleased with its quality, clarity, bass etc etc. Hopefuly this little soundbar won’t dissappoint me and according to other reviews it shouldn’t. Also great as mentioned in this video it should work with my apple tv, so I can control it with my apple tv remote which I love so muchMy only question is if it is possible somehow to connect sub if I want to later on? If anybody knows the answer please let me know.

how big is the room where you tested the BOSE solo 5? What do you think should be the recommended room size which this sound bar could cover?

I'm going to purchase this sound bar for my TV. The main reason I say I will purchase it is because Bose stands behind their product. I purchased a Cinemate about roughly 4 years ago maybe or more and I was having problems with the speakers. I didn't sign up for any warranty and called bose direct and without hesitation and no hassle they replaced the speakers and it only cost me $20 to ship the speakers back to them. You can't beat that and its rare to find a company to stand behind its product for 30 days none the less 4-5 years later. One last thing also is the price is good for quality sound.

I think that is a great option!!! Whenever I buy a product I see if there is factory refurbished option (as long as it comes with a decent warranty). I read an article somewhere that said that you are statistically less likely to have something to go wrong with a refurbished product because the company has now thoroughly reviewed it. So as long as it comes with a warranty I say go for it!

Jonathan Pickering on the remote press and hold the blue tooth button until the blue tooth indicator blinks blue and then from your phone you can search for nearby Bluetooth devices and pair it. After you've finished this setup then in the future all you will have to do is press the Bluetooth button once and begin playing audio.

Jimmy Phillips depends on the tv and tv stand. it's best to have the speaker blocked as little as possible. So if just a little bit of it is blocked by the tv stand you it probably won't matter but if the entire thing is then that could reduce the audio quality.

Couple of questions...how it I hooked up to the TV? Also, once it's hooked up can the Bose volume be controlled by increasing TV volume using a cablevision remote..I want to keep it as simple as possible.

+Joe Krol it hooks up via an optical audio cable. I'm not familiar with the cable vision remote so I couldn't say for sure if it would work or not

Nope the standard TV volume is independent (at least with my TV). I actually turned my standard TV volume all the way down to zero so there wouldn't be any echo or audio distortion between the TV and the soundbar.

This sound bar is a pieces of crap for $300, returned it as soon as I set it up. I got a $130 Samsung sound bar that sounds incredible. It is criminal how much they charge for it. It is maybe worthy $50

There is a professional reason why some cones are faced up, especially when them cones are tweaked with software. P.S, You talk way too much, imo
