Even tho you left me with the same conflict I had,cause I'm a bass person but also a Samsung fan,Love the features and much easier to use when you have Samsung TV and Samsung smartphone ....! (And yet I do own an Xbox ) I would like to know if there is an option to mix the Samsung theater with a Bose subwoofer please,anyone know??

Got the exact same Bose system! The sound bar has a exceptional sound wide and high 4 speakers inside a sound bar, plus the subwoofer that punches out low bass signals at any volume. I like the setup size cause it’s small and co pact but sounds big and mighty. Sure there are other that claim to sound better and cost less, but those that know Bose have Bose and enjoy Bose for years and years and many years. I’ve owned Sony, Samsung, LG etc speakers were much bigger but the sound quality and build quality wasn’t good like Bose. Like everything in life you have those that like one item and those that hate that same item, it’s all about preference.

I just picked one up on Craigslist for 180 I love it sound is perfect the way they simulate surround with just the bar is amazing

I have the bose setup but im throwing a party and I feel like the bass isn’t strong enough when your standing up and walking around. I have the knob set to max but still nothing. I have the system connected through the optical cable into my tv. If you know how to increase the bass please let me know

So how does this sound vs the Samsung as a surround sound unit? It sounds better than the Samsung but the Samsung has actual rear speakers , did the Bose envelop the room in sound ? Could you pinpoint left,right signals?

I have the Cinemate GS 2 series. For how compact it is, it knocks pretty hard no clutter. It's good long lasting stuff.

you're right about the bose,,you might not have the best audio recording setup but I still heard quite significant base with the bose and cleanliness,but samsung has never been known for base,,maybe sony,,,anywho great review/comparison...

This sound system is hella loud. There is no need to crank up the volume all the way up in a medium sized room.

Many people like to dog Bose and it's usually the people who can't afford to get one. They really are superior when it comes to sound clarity and base. I have friends who have different brand home theater systems and they honestly don't compare. Your review has been one of the best on KZread and I appreciate this video. Thank you for that. It has pretty much solidified my decision on pulling the trigger on this system. And anyone looking for a deal, as it is pricey, check if there is a Bose factory store around you as they have them there for either brand new for $599 or factory reconditioned by Bose themselves with the 1 year warranty attached for $399.

Bose definitely sounded better. I would steer away from Bose headphones as they are overpriced and not as quality price wise but for home theater systems they are still a good bet. Another thing though, Often a plug in aux will almost always sound better than a wireless connection, so that may be partly why the Bose as you said sounded clearer.

I'm worried about the height of the bose soundbar it is quite tall!

Good review, however, I don't think it was apples for apples, meaning wired to wifi. I always think that wired will give one better sound reproduction. If you can hookup the Samsung sound system via wired, please re-do this review, I would be very interested to see the new results.

You can easily set up the bose wirelessly using Bluetooth adopter. That's what I do with my set up and can connect my Ipad and phone.

BOSE any day, less clutter and very discrete. huge tight sound and the bass is phatt too. i would go for BOSE

Bose sounds clear and good :)

Go find a sweet deal on a battery and replace the one thats dying in you smoke detector.

No. I only had them both at about the 25 level. Each system goes up to about 35. Any louder and my neighbors would call the cops. lol

On sale at BB & Amazon now for $399.99.

That’s the smallest sound bar I’ve ever seen but sounds good. Best Buy? Really? Didn’t know people still shopped there. Course this was two years ago. Maybe they’ll be out of business a few years from now. They stopped advertising in the Sunday papers, can’t afford it.

BOSE is better to me. Sound is Balance and the Base is just right..

I think by this video, the bose sounds better.

Oh believe me, I've spent far more on my system. A system for this price should at least have an 8" subwoofer. This has a crappy 5.25 midwoofer that can't produce subbass. Lol you Bose fans are total ignorants
