Been waiting for a video showcasing the LR8 Reciever. Can you do more outdoor tests with this system please! Most of my work will be outdoors at distances of up to 150 feet or more. Im tryin to decide between this Bosch model or the Stabila LA180 L

I tried to used the LR8 at the last part of this video with ranging 25m outdoor day light but its struggling. It beeps but it does not give accurate point. For best result use it in between 10-15 meters in broad daylight. Little vibration of the laser level cause by windy weather might be the big reason of in accurate result.

I own the GLL3-330CG and the LR8 and I have tested the receiver on a very hot, very bright Florida summer day out on the end of a pier @ about 120 ft and it detects the laser line every time with no problem in full sunshine. I couldnt test it any distance longer than that b/c I was already at the end of the pier. We've used it many times to mark height elevations on pilings and whats great about it is it hits several pilings at once then we use the LR8 to find/mark the laser on the pilings. With a dot laser you can only do one at a time and it takes 2 people and very difficult to control where the dot is hitting +25 ft away. With a line laser, you don't have that problem. The GLL3-330CG and LR8 are legit and I don't work or get paid by Bosch. These 2 layout tools are very high quality and I would not trade mine for the world.

@@HectorideMoto Yes if the wind is blowing really hard it shakes the laser level which then shakes the laser line so the line is going up/down or left/right across the detection point in the middle of the receiver. The receiver detects the line accurately but you have to control the shaking of the laser line or else wait for the wind to calm down.

Please insert the double a batteries to the adapter and put it in the unit that way we can see how terrible it is the worst design ever once you put it in it's almost impossible to pull it out

I was hoping for a better review. You move your camera and your gadgets quite rapidly. You were in a hurry and didn't fully explain. I tried hard to follow your explanation of the function of the Bosch LR8 Reciever. I was left petrified. You can do better brother; you have the equipment, the setting, and the perfect environment to showcase these products. Please try again, will you?
