Thinking about this or the Harbor Freight Bauer ($40) angle grinder. Any thoughts on what you think is better? Also, I’ve read that this Bosch doesn’t do cutting? I thought all angle grinders cut with the intended cutting wheel. Thx

I'm just a Bosch fan, I'm with you on the cutting haven't tried it for that. I got a HF DA polisher for the car. It works good just has a lot of vibration.

You can’t go wrong with Bosch man. And when you say cutting what do you mean? I’m a weekend warrior and I used this to rip through some 1/4 steel pipe, and 1/2” bolts that were rusted as hell. Bosch cut right through them like butter. Edit: I used the stock disc that came with the tool.

There's supposed to be some thinner "cutting" disc you can get. I used the disc it came with to cut a stripped hose off the house water outlet with no problem. Haven't needed it since lol.

Is this grinder compatible with blades for ceramic/tile?

So there is one way to put the shield on which it will slide right down onto the plastic molding. Once this is done, The plastic molding has a ridge right in the middle of it, which will let you slide the shield into the correct position. Then you tighten the screw.

Nice grinder Bosch makes good tools. I was at lowes the other night and saw a guy grab 2 of those $700 Dewalt complete kits he put one under each arm then went out the door they said just let him go I said dang people suck🤣Bosch is probably the only company that makes tools and car parts.
