Fr because the entire time they were growing Zetsus, and replacement body parts as well as Hashirama implants for enhancement purposes before in labs they were literally GMO plants spliced with Hashirama's DNA. They even retconned Danzo's arm as something he got from one of the labs and that it was a cloned lab grown copy of "Shin Uchiha's" arm which itself is lab grown etc. Dude replaced his entire body with a genetically engineered one covered in stolen and also likely cloned Mangekyo Sharingan eyes and that weird Dojutsu that makes him a metal bender but it was like he had to mark the metal objects Minato Flying Rajin style before he could manipulate them with his dojutsu. And the mf had a bunch of little cloned "vessels" to extend his lifespan and provide him with a replacement body and replacement parts. Anything about what makes us human is always an interesting story that's why certain films etc. Will always be special like Blade Runner where we get the figure of speech "more human than the human" also Blade Runner 2049 brought it farther than just replicants artificial humans who think and feel like the rest of us but don't have rights and get "retired" when they run away to be free because they were grown in a lab instead of born. Except for one Deckers daughter proving as literally artificially built and grown humans not actual androids that the replicants are very much alive and can sexually reproduce. It also extended the idea to JOI the AI construct girlfriend who being a real AI construct she has a consciousness where regardless of wether she is a computer program an AI and a mass produced one at that who is programmed to love K she's also programmed to learn through her relationship with him. She thinks and feels like a real person emotionally and cognitively but she has no physical body and is clearly insecure about that fact and want's to have a physical body so she can actually touch her lover. And K being a Replicant too doesn't ask or make JOI do the things he wants her to do all he asks her is what she want's to do. If she has a consciousness and is given choices by K just because she's digital is she any less real than K or Marielle? If she has a consciousness regardless of preprogrammed behaviors if she truly believes she is a unique consciousness and she is in love with K and and what they have is special again does it make it any less real? Is their love any less special? That's why when she "dies" and K sees the JOI advertisements he isn't broken by the revelation that their love was false and she was simply following her programming he knew she was a mass produced product when he bought her it's that this was an AI that "wanted to he real for him" and genuinely longed to be able to feel his touch. K was heartbroken because he knew he could buy another JOI but she would never be the same. She could never be "his" JOI. His JOI who learned algorithmically by interacting with him on a daily basis and built upon her core programing with her eventually developing a unique personality and she even thinks for herself because of her relationship with K is gone and he can never get her back and it doesn't matter that she was just ones and zeros she meant everything to him and thats the point of no return where he's ready to die for what he believes in. She's the one who hired Marielle as a prostitute for K not him it was her idea she was free to make decisions on her own. All because she wanted to at least be able to simulate something every human and even replicant like Marielle takes for granted. Blade Runner 2049 Chat GPT GF and a replicant are literally more human than the humans. A machine had pure hearted, selfless, unconditional love for a replicant who she insisted was in fact a "real boy" and not a soulless puppet engineered in a lab. It took an AI to recognize the humanity of a replicant.
