GABE Adams, 22, from Utah, was born without arms and legs due to Hanhart syndrome. But Gabe hasn’t let his lack of limbs stop him from accomplishing whatever he sets his mind to - including marrying the man of his dreams. Gabe was adopted from Brazil as a baby by a Mormon family, and his religious upbringing meant that he remained in the closet until he was 19. However, Gabe is now proudly out to his friends, family and the world and after a string of disappointing relationships, he has found true love with his fiance Adam. We caught up with the young couple in the lead-up to them tying the knot this summer, with Gabe excited to get his first sneak peek at his bespoke wedding outfit.

This couple are out of their mind, y do people look at once they are happy that's it NO, wrong. Y don't people obey Almighty God, a relationship is between a man and a women, they produced children hello to both of u read your bible and then repent before its too late, life is more spiritual than physical, we all HV to die and stand before God whether u believe it or not so do the Right thing

I honestly and truly don't think that the divine creator cares about where you put your private parts, so long as you treat eachother with love, respect and dignity there cannot be "sin". This is a man-made ideology. There are plenty of God following worshipers who do awful things to pure, helpless people, yet deny and cover up what they do. Their hearts are evil. I feel sad for people who are lost and blinded in their views that they cannot see the truth, or distinguish between those things.

See.. we have secular couples in this nation... Hindu couples... Buddhist couples... There's this little thing called different religions and separation of Church and State (built into our nation's own Constitution!) Maybe you should let people in committed, healthy relationships be happy. I think that's what God would want.
"...And I just assume he can do it until he asks for help" I'm pretty sure that's what most disabled people wanna be treated like. :)

I have had 2 friends with handicaps at different times in my life and both times strangers would look at me like I was a horrible friend because I wasn't helping them every second
Its weird how people u dont no at all can make u happy by seeing how happy and in love they are. This was great. They are so beautiful together.

Right! I found Gabe on tiktok and he was actually talking about his wedding and I was immediately invested in seeing how it would turn out. He's such a sweet soul and his energy is amazing!

I don't think his family are devout LDS. I say this humbly. Devout LDS would hold true to orthodox chaste living.

@@michaelciccone2194 being LDS myself, I don't think that's true. Our religion is about Christ and his pure unconditional love. His parents can be devout members and still support their son. I know God would rather see the parents love their son than condemn him and shut him out.

Let's not be too judgemental of the parents...they did adopt a very disabled child from Brazil and give him a chance to live in a country like the US. His life would have been very different otherwise.

What a beautiful relationship. Just the way they look into each other's eyes, almost brings tears to mine. The connection between them is so deep and tangible, even from a distance, you can feel it.
"I work the mouth, he works the limbs." Love that! Also lovely to see a couple who are so clearly meant to be together.
I absolutely love how they get lost in each other’s eyes when they look at one another while talking. So happy for them!! Everyone deserves true love and I’m happy they found that in one another ☺️
I have so much respect for these parents bc this is a very lucky man. He was adopted by this couple in a very distressed state I would imagine and was raised with so much love and security instilled in him that he even had the confidence to be able to say to his parents who took him in and raised him that if they couldn't accept him they had to move on and the fact that they went against their beliefs and loved this child so much that they accepted him anyway is the definition of unconditional love!!!

I'm glad they realized that loving and accepting their son was much more important than their reputation as members of the church. I wish all parents would accept their lgbtq+ children.

I totally love this, and love Gabe. I found this video while searching for an argument that there are no such things as DISabilities, other than what is in your mind. I am SO excited to have learned about you via Nikki Stone's book, When Turtles Fly, and also to see that you surmounted even HIGHER barriers, Gabe. I was also LDS at one time. You have more energy and stamina than most people have in an entire lifetime--and you're still so young. You are incredible! Thank you for continuing to deliver hope.

I don't know anything about you or your life but I'm disabled and I didn't meet my forever guy until I was 29 years old. That was after a 6 year relationship with a guy who told me often that "no guy in his right mind would ever put up with (my) issues". I'm glad I found that person who is apparently just as "insane" as me. Your person is out there. I've always believed that everyone has someone. Sometimes it just takes a little bit to find them.

I’ve been put down constantly by my parents for not conforming to cultural standards and wanting to go to uni and be independent. I think my low esteem attracted the wrong guys and so the pattern continued. In my 40s now and single but still (trying) to stay positive and hopeful for that elusive love. You’re right I’m sure the right soul is out there for everyone ⛅️❤️

I watched Gabe's story on another channel, his parents did a great job in making him independent. This guy grew up confident and loved. I am glad that he found his personal happiness. Also on some channel I saw the story of another guy Gabe's age who grew up in the UK. His adoptive mother loved him very much but he was absolutely not independent, he could not do anything himself. That guy was very unconfident and it was sad.
