In our Tibetan community, transgender people are treated equally, or sometimes even more valuable. It's proven. The first Tibetan transgender Tenzin Mariko is welcomed into our community and treated like a celebrity in our community. ❤❤❤❤ Tashi Chodon is a brave Human with Tibetan roots.

Dalai Lama never said to have attachment, be it opposite or same sex. Dalai said to have love from heart to any living being but not for the sake of worldly love that carries away with emotions. Just by using the words of his holiness don’t exaggerate everything. I don’t think his holiness is a transgender, nevertheless, he is a warm hearted monk that don’t want to hurt any transgenders.

Thank you Tenzin Chödron for sharing with us your Life Erience and struggle you went through. You manage it very well, congratulation for that. You can be proud of you. I am my self Trad. Tibetan doctor living in Switzerland. May be it will help to understand your self better, if you go back to your roods ( Tibetan and Buddhist Culture) and learn Buddhist teaching. There, it is said, that all human being, no matter wath color, race, gender, are the same. Even in oure 3000 old Tibetan medical Text Book it is written, that there an femal, male and neutral sex. So it’s the nature of Beeing to be all. Be your self, as you are and don“t take your self and things out there too serouse. In Buddhist Social there are existing lesbian, guy ect. but we are not making Elefants out of mies like in the western culture about gender. REAL Buddhist are accepting all things AS IT IS. So try this way and see your self as HUMAN Beeing like others ONLY. Try to live and think your worthy human life on this earth in benefits of needed peopel. Like HH the Dalai Lama said. If you see the problems of the World( Hunger, ware ect) , your problem seams to be like a small needle pin. Thank you 🙏

@@tashi9538 hi Tashi Choden, I don’t know if you have read my comment or if you can read at all. I didn’t say anything about it being informal or “casual”. You can be “casual” and have an organised speech at the same time. It doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive. She is telling a story about her life and growth so if it was organised one would go from A-Z. But she is jumping from D to X and then back to F. She will not only represent herself but the entire country. Also, as a public figure, one should be able to take positive criticisms and try to work on it without getting all defensive and worked up.

For a person who's first language isn't english, I'd say she speaks perfectly fine. Sure she needs a bit more practice but u cannot expect a non-native speaker to suddenly start speaking like a native english speaker.

Bhutan has different regions with varying physical features. Tibet being a huge region has even larger variations. She looks international in her physical feature because she is a model and maintains the amount of muscle to look distinctive. Nothing Indian about that.
