The orchestral intro is so poignant in this song. It’s almost as if the string instruments are crying or falling into a deep depression...

This song doesn't make me sad, it relaxes me because it reminds me that nothing lasts forever and that’s ok, it gives me hope that I’ll be able to move on if things drastically change. It also reminds me that we must appreciate what we have today because we don't know if we will have it tomorrow, like Lizzie said "We were born to die" which means that everything ends, at least that's what it means to me.

Omg you said exactly how I feel when listening to this song and like her other songs too. I totally agree. For me it feels very romantic and so tragic and yet so damn beautiful. Everytime I hear her voice, her words and music it sheds Tears of sadness mixed with tears of relief from the pain we hold on to. Sadness and pain we struggle either from dealing with depression, a sense of betrayal by your partner who’s cheating on you, or decides to break it off with you. Her music strangely heals me. Because her music gives me the power of moving on. Truly. its like a huge blanket covering you, and the singer telling me don’t be afraid or dying. Because we have a purpose after life as well when we pass. so enjoy every moment you have on this earth with your special partner. Live wild and enjoy your last days on earth. Because in the end you and your partner can never stop death. Because us humans we are born to die. That’s just life and when we die. It’s never truly over. we go to a wonderful. And that’s called the after life that is heaven. That place is just as good as being on earth. That’s what I believe anyway.

we've had a perfect relationship, he has been a perfect boyfriend and I have been so in love that the rest of the world didn't matter. But for weeks now we've been broken and have been falling into one problem after another, I even didn't go to school one day to ride at 4 AM to his town on the other side of the country and make things right. Its 6:24 am, as I lay in bed and my mind is fixated on one thought. Its been a month, since we left eachother. I never thought I was able to stop loving you and I never thought you were able to say such horrid things to me. At moments I am in total denial, and make myself believe that we'll fix this.
