this is my favorite song of all of my 71 years of listening to music. i must have heard BORN ON THE BAYOU at least 1000 times, and it just keeps getting better. LAWWD.

I'm from Canada and BTO (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) were a huge part of my teen years. About 10 years ago Bachman and Turner re-united and played the half-time show at the Grey Cup (Canadian football's league championship). It's an outdoor stadium, about -5 C and these two old, grizzled rockers come out - and it's 1973 again! Just freaking amazing!

I know he has his two sons playing with him in this band but I don't know who the others are but they capture the groove that was CCR in a way that in the past his band never did. This drummer and bass player are kick ass!!!
