I saw Born Of Osiris at Rockville this year. Even though I broke my ankle in the pit, it was STILL one of my favorite performances of all time. Love these guys, and I ALWAYS get excited when I hear they're putting out new music!

I don’t mean any disrespect to BoO but alllll of their newer stuff is processed to hell and back and tempo/soungwriting-wise it’s all sounding completely the same to me. I always check the comments, and most people seem to disagree but I’m happy to see at least one person here gets it XD I like my metal a little more cut and dry, from a mix perspective.

Sounds like every other generic modern metalcore song nowadays, minus some cool lead riffs. And I'm not one of those "all BOO post-Discovery sucks" guys, I liked Angel or Alien.

Same monotone vocals that are way too loud. They need to get more creative with their vocals and only have them sitting this loud in the mix at certain parts for impact.

Yeah I agree. Unlike anything the past 17+ years. Super super boring, dull and beyond generic, just nothing in it at all. It's just a flat play the whole way through. FUckin shame.

I still like it, but was hoping for a bit more. Wasn't a huge fan of the recurring "pang" near the beginning either, still good tho, still going in my playlist, but I liked basically every song off the previous album better
