I'd say second best. The version that wound up on "Live 1975-1985" is so goddamn powerful. Bruce shredding his voice, the high pitched wail, counting it back in twice...I've never heard another show where he puts that much emotion into it.

This was from the 1988 Amnesty International Human Rights Now! tour and was recorded at Estadio River Plate, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and originally broadcast on HBO. I had a copy of it on VHS tape for many years but the sound quality sucked. This is the first time I've heard such a clean recording of it.

I got to see the Amnesty show at the Big O in Montreal. How lucky was I?!?! Funny to hear this wasn't recorded in the US with how the crowd is belting it out from start to finish. AHH to go back to innocence and the EIGHTIES! Got to also see the Born in The USA tour at the forum at around 12yo, such an EMOTIONAL experience! 🥲✌️🤍🤘🇺🇸

I heard the East Berlin 88 version about 1992 times. This is not East Berlin.

I didn't go to any of the concerts because I wasn't born. But I think that the 1985 live rendition from Los Angeles was better.

When you write "Available on iTunes", does it mean that your recording is the one sold on iTunes ? It sounds better than other versions available on KZread for sure. Thanks for posting it.

I know what you mean. It must have been great to have been there but hearing it coldly as a audio track you want to hear Bruce not the crowd singing the chorus.The best version for me is on LIVE 75/85
