I am thankful this got recommended to me. I don’t know how I haven’t found this when I search amv’s of UV and VSS weekly ever since 0.6. I like the style you added to the AMV, I just wish it had a bigger frame. I like how you considered Blueberry from OverSwap, because while the AU would be marked as UnderSwap, the timeline is no longer underground. Even though this AMV came out after 0.5, I think it’s good that this is only about Season 1, since everyone thought differently of themselves after 0.4, besides Killer. On this rant of occasional analysis of amv’s I like, I’m gonna be explaining what each variant was made for, born for, what transpired with them, and what they think of themselves after 0.4. Classic: made for a game as one of the most mysterious characters. Born to be involved in being a hero for monsters, but made a promise that halted him. Might be a side of Gaster. Glitched the timeline by killing Frisk at a time when the player isn’t in control, which reset Frisk’s memory and made him owner. Couldn’t take the weight, and became involved in the X-Event. After 0.4, he sees himself as just another insignificant being in the multiverse. Error: placed in the Anti-Void at the start of the new multiverse because the multiverse had nowhere else to put Geno after his plan succeeded and wouldn’t my die with the rest of the multiverse. Born to be the destroyer of worlds, and is mathematically correct. Found the Doodle Sphere, the place where he could finish his destiny immediately, but wanted to have fun and made a truce. Gave a second chance to Ink who broke the truce, and then destroyed the multiverse. After 0.4, he probably sees himself as the person who has to step up to defeat XGaster and punish Ink. Ink: made to be part of an AU that was never completed. Born to be a solo character, he decided to be the self-proclaimed guardian of AU’s, since he knows that he wouldn’t be forgotten like he was before with a title like that. Joined the Star Sanses, which made him even more popular, but was the reason it disbanded. Noticed AU’s self destructing, and found XGaster, a creator in his reality, which would ensure Ink would never be forgotten. Broke the truce by doing this, and is the leader of the X-Event. After 0.4, he thinks he was a good actor, and is desperate for Phase 3 of the X-Event and to get a soul. Cross: made to be a placeholder for a perfect AU. Born to be the starting component of the X-Event. Wants to be the best hero he can be. Destroys his universe, and becomes a slave and a tool to destroy others to ultimately fail. After 0.4, he thinks he’s nothing but a knight for the wrong reasons. Edge: made to be a variant for an AU with the rule “It’s kill or be killed.” Born to be the hero, but paranoid by the possibility of death. Had to join Ink’s group and learned to chill a little and was able to trust a few people and do what he was born for. After 0.4, he didn’t think he did enough to be recognized, but was reassured for his efforts and forgiven. Blueberry: made to be a variant in an AU with a slim chance of being made based off the idea of the character places being swapped. Born to be a foolish character with a heart of gold, but with Hate bottled up. Lost his timeline and fought his very hardest, and found out all of his efforts were futile. After 0.4, he was wondering if his philosophy of having a kind heart was a lie, with the inclusion that the Star Sanses, which he was a part of, failed. Space: made to be a variant in an AU where the timelines take place in space. Born to be just like Classic, only more chill and no connections to Gaster. Decided to be a hero for the group that needed it, and became like an owner to his world. After 0.4, he realizes that he has no right to be as chill as he thought he does. Nightmare: made to be a guardian for a tree that allows AU’s to be made, but for the negative side. Born to be the person to be enveloped in negativity and spread it. He allows the X-Event to corrupt the multiverse but fails to keep his slave. After 0.4, he realizes he has to adapt to compromise for the needs of himself and the multiverse’s new owner. Dream: made to be the same as Nightmare, but for the positive side. Born to be the hero for even the most insignificant beings. Made and disbanded the Star Sanses. Was veered away from the X-Event so it could perpetuate and not be stopped. Knew he was being lied to, but knew it would be best not to interfere anyway. After 0.4, he realizes that his chances of keeping everyone positive are slimmer than ever before, but still senses the good in even the most tortured souls, so he keeps trying. Fresh: made to be a parasite. Born to host Fresh!Sans, and promote hippie stuff while possibly wanting to kill the multiverse, just looking for a party. Was hired by Ink to guard XTale and promised a gift. After 0.4, he anticipates his gift, and is partying in the Omega Timeline. Fresh!Ink: made to be Error’s worst nightmare. Born to either host Ink or be a variant of Fresh inspired off of the idea of if he hosted Ink. Hasn’t appeared in UnderVerse yet. Sin: made to be a variant in an AU based off of a Spanish soap opera watched by Error. Born to compete with Asgoro over Toriel. During Error’s dream which involves him in the X-Event, Sin must align with Asgoro to save Frisk from the X-Event. After 0.4, he no longer exists (directed by Robert B. Weide) or is in the Omega Timeline after being saved by Dream or Core. Killer: made to be a murderous AT of Classic. Born to join Chara in genocide. Was hired by Nightmare and transformed into an emotionless killer with Hate, lots of DT, and a sense of sadism. Gets frustrated by Cross and XChara. After 0.4, he only sees more work from Nightmare in the future. Geno: made to be a Classic who did his best to fight against Chara without murdering anyone he likes. Born to be stuck in the Save Screen with equal DT to Frisk’s and being too obsessed to find an easy way out. Gets saved by Sans, Papyrus, and Frisk and is chilling on the surface, healed. Hasn’t appeared in UnderVerse yet. Fatal_Error: made to be an example of a different method of Geno becoming an error. Born to still be as blind as Geno, killing tons of variants without taking the easy way out. Hates Error, because he’s the one who tried to kill him in the Save Screen. Hasn’t appeared in UnderVerse yet. Epic: made to be a meme lord variant of an AU that has an owner who plans perfection and is a hacker. Born to be a test of perfection by his owner, suffering yet being a hero. Is a security guard in the Omega Timeline, and is a victim of one of XGaster’s secret missions. After 0.4, he plans to be an enemy to XGaster and be the Bruh to the Dude, Cross. That’s everyone.
