Initially I like the deep sound of the ATAK, but the S-Type I think has the best total range of sounds...plus the S has some pretty-cool unique tips!!! Gr8 comparison video. Thanks.

i agree, i like how the s type has a deep hum at idle, not a loud cackle, cackling exhausts just sound like big diesel trucks.

The Z51 Performance sounds so much better than the GM Borla one. Of course overall, the Atak sounds best.

Overall, have to say the ATAK had the best deep, throaty growl IMO. In the past, I have always preferred the sound of the S Type over the ATAK, but not this time. Good vid, thx for posting!

Great comparison. All sound great but I think I prefer the ATAK.

Great video - they all sound good. I think the Z51 Performance and the S-Type had the best overall tone/range. I put a dual-side S-Type on my Silverado, and it's perfect. Will probably do the same come spring-time when I buy a Corvette.

The rapid blue sounded the best. Louder than stock but not annoying like an older V8 muscle car like a trans am or something. Nice and deep and not annoyingly loud.

I have the atak on my c6 and will be installing on my c8 as well along with headers sounds soooo good...

I got the GM Accessories Borla Exhaust. Cant wait to hear it in person when I get my car back. Ty for the video. Im near Long Beach Island in Jersey

hey great video , ! im thinking of putting a Borla exhaust on my c8 , i hate the square tips .. cars and coffee at millers ale house MT.LAUREL NJ every saturday 7:30am till 10:45

The S type really done it for the C8!!!! Yes Yes Yes!!!

That GM Borla sounded deep on startup! It would be a hard decision between that and the Atak.

Love the loudest normally but would choose the S. Cool tips + when it comes to selling the car down the road the S exhaust would be more desirable to general buyers.

I like the ATAK the best by far. Sounds deep, and throaty like a big pushrod V8 should.

Great video. I went with the Borla Accessory exhaust. Atak sounds great to! Stock is just so lackluster for a sports car.

Was the Borla worth it? In the vid they sounded similar. Borla a bit lower but not any louder. Is that the case?

Yes. Borla is great! Needed up getting the Atak and took off the Borla Accessories exhaust.

I prefer the S-type. But I really want/need to hear it with a cat removal. :)

Really enjoyed the ATAK. HTC is the only way to go too.

Be much better to have that old school, 70 year old man look to it. The coupes come with white new balance shoes and a phone belt clip too. I can't believe anyone would ever buy the HTC

Would have to take each on a highway loop with good (binaural) audio to determine if the mean sound is offset with annoying livability. I have a Super sprint exhaust on my BMW Z3 and it sounds glorious, but the drone gets tiring. The factory exhaust sounds like nothing, so I live with it, but in this case (where the stock exhaust sounds quite nice), it would be a more important factor.

Like the ATAK BUT THE “S” is fine

S type!

Borla S fits the car imo. Doesn’t give it that old v8 sounds. Sounds more high pitch and better fitting. Fxck it, I’ll take both of em 🤣

Personally I think the ATAK sounds best.

S type all the way arak sounds like something is in the way

Atak sounds like a 56 ford with glass pack mufflers. No thanks. I can get the Borla GM exhaust for $3350 installed OTD . There was a 25% off discount over Black Friday. Plus I had $955 rewards money from GM and $345 installation cost.

I now have the ATAK and absolutely love it. The GM one has a nice tone but just not enough volume for me. The ATAK makes the car sound like an old school muscle car.
