Saw that but since I don't know much about the politicians at that time , except Margaret Thatcher , policies , and decisions made by those people,it will be hard for me to understand it. Infact I started taking interest in Uk politics after watching the episodes and trying to find what is. But now I know folks like Michael Gove, Preeti Patel and Dominic Raab and their decisions and nature ,so i do understand most.

They did an accurate job of saying what he really meant here.

he was actually a "useful idiot" for the conservative party. He was likable and got shit done. What the media are telling you is not really substantiated by evidence... His ratings aren't lower because of party gate or the alleged "sexual predator" hiring debacle. The british public could not give a shit (bar the Labour party) about his "mistakes" while he was delivering. Now that the British economy and cost of living are utter shambles, most Brits are starting to resent the government and Boris is the face of it. Like Thatcher was her cabinets face. This is starting to happen in a lot of countries and it isn't a new phenomena.... People don't care about Labour propaganda, defamation and political wars. People care about the economy, their freedom, their way of living, their. Therefore, he was quite right about the herd mentality... in a FPTP parliamentary system, once the leader starts be disliked, most MP's cannot stand the chance of supporting someone and get sacked in the following elections. Then, you also have scavengers, that are dying to take his spot.

Penny Mordaunt has a lot to offer - I thought she was a "Dark Horse" in the Tory leadership race. Well, we'll never know now, unless she goes again next time around. She would still be very good as Defence Secretary or maybe Foreign Secretary, with a Naval Reserve background and MP for Portsmouth North. (There is a very good (yes good!) Labour MP for Portsmouth South).

Havin lived through the Thatcher years I can genuinely say I do not regret AT ALL never voting for her.... but, if it was a choice I would rather than vote for 'BoJo'. I think she was very misguided in her ideas of how, in terms of 'have and have nots', to get everyone/most people to be a 'have' but she did (wrongly) at least think that was a possible outcome of her policies. Johnson doesn't give a toss about most people, he has no wider political thoughts, just "let me be the one they call Prime Minister".

This news just in: 'Hat Trick Productions are reporting Boris Johnson, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has just been announced as the new permanent host of the topical news quiz programme "Have I Got News For You!". A spokesperson type chap for the company refused to comment, so we asked Boris Johnson for his opinion as to whether this report was true or not. He told us he couldn't possibly comment on whether the details of the report were true or not, but if he was to do so an announcement would probably be made around the 2nd of October, 2022. Asked whether this had anything to do with his present job ending around that date, he again said he couldn't possibly comment on that ether. but he would be making an announcement at a wine and cheese party closer to the time. We're sure the something will leak out in a day or two as it often does, or he if he changes his mind and makes an announcement anyway, as he often does. In other news today...
