The suicide segment really hit me. I got diagnosed with ADHD in April and have had thoughts about not caring if I didn't exist but I have never thought about actually ending myself.

As society we are slowly moving into Unified Theory of everything, similar to the same trials in the contemporary physics and their own findings about our physical world. So I support the title of this video. These are all interchangeable: RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria) = Social anxiety = Emotional Dysregulation = Complex Trauma = Toxic shame = After-effects of ACoA & ACE = After-effects of narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, mental abuse = Hypervigilance/hypovigilance = PureOCD = Unfavorable power dynamics = Trauma response = Trauma bonding = Neurodivergence = Spectrum, not binary thinking = Amygdala hijacking = Trauma triggers and flashbacks = being criticized for something you can't control = having high moral and ethical standards and enforcing them = someone random complains about our errors when we done superhuman efforts to avoid ALL mistakes which 98.5% percent of people never invest neither physically nor mentally = toxic person complaining and expecting us to know something for the first time without mistakes = Perfectionism = Protesting: someone toxic complaining without fair assessment and basing their protest on bias and prejudice and oversimplification = Protesting: trauma panic symptoms related in an attempt to express OUR OWN judgement and negative evaluation and holding criminals narcissists accountable for their crimes and hidden selfish agenda of exploiting others = Not conforming = Conforming (fawning) to unreasonable standards and neurotypical norms = Conforming to narcissistic abuser and psychopath who would punish us if we don't conform to their Coercive control, hidden agenda and manipulation and pathological lying = Being authentic true speaking the truth to fake people and toxic people who have hidden covert agenda to exploit others = being Agreeable (Big 5 personality trait) = being Open (Big 5 personality trait) = Being Neurotic (Big 5 personality trait) = being healthy, friendly and open to life and people = Attachment issues = Codependency = Listening to our gut feeling = Quiet BPD (PureBPD) = BPD Splitting = Inner critic = Imposter syndrome = Being exposed to Operant Conditioning of Negative reinforcement (rejection, cold shoulder) = Being exposed to Negative reinforcement Breadcrumbs hoping positive reinforcement will come instead = doing the best we can to avoid and mitigate negative reinforcement = Avoidance = Victim of false accusation and slander (overt or covert) = overcompensation and masking and making trauma and or abuse to be functional = being wounded and reacting to someone future faking our voids being fulfilled to hook us up to their lies "People expect the quiet one to adapt to the loud people but not the other way around"

@@dianeibsen5994 Both. Problem was when I felt it, and I had no word for what it was. CBT, and self-help books, then goes with misdiagnosis and makes everything worse with hyper-cognition (putting wrong labels on unfamiliar phenomena).

Thank you so much. I have been recently diagnosed with both, and this has helped me greatly, in understanding. I can see both and have the optimism of adhd to keep going with life, but at the expense of isolating myself from any relationship as I am unable to cope with the feelings of abandonment and low self worth. Now that you have almost described me in this video, with kindness, it has given me hope to seek treatment.

I feel you. I was diagnosed with ADHD 5 yrs ago and BPD 3 yrs ago. I felt like a failure. I've been working through it and hasn't been easy. Like this professional said, not a lot of providers have the training to treat these conditions. Hope🙏🏽❤️

I would be careful with diagnosis of BPD. Most victims and targets of narcissistic abuse - and especially if they are women - are quickly put under the label and diagnosis of BPD in order not to get much into real causes of distress: toxic straight male in power who is abusive. This way, victims are blamed for abuse and expected to lobotomize themselves, like submissive housewives in 1950s.

Very thorough explanation of the symptoms and clear differentiation of schizophrenia/adhd/bpd. 1:00:02 drugs/alcohol/sex/over eating please. When I first read that a symptom of depression can also be overeating, it gave me a huge relief as I knew why was overeating. Also not acknowledging sex/porn/love as a substance could make few feel really isolated and with the right combination of trauma, history of trauma in family of origin and psychosis due to assault bullying can become very complex. Even the people how are close to the person addicted would not even want to know that this is happening as the lack of this being viewed as a unhealthy dependency can bring about countless questions about why it is happening. Not to mention few who are socially so situated that they can capitalize on it and that would make it much more difficult for someone who is really trying to breakout of the cycle. Please excuse me venting out here. I know two people who lost their lives due to unhealthy dependency on porn/sex and it was the overwhelming stigma and lack of even just the information that there are resources like S Fellowships, self help books such as Facing the Shadow, podcasts, Fight the new drug and CSATS qualified to help. They say that a 12 step program is the metaphorically the last house on the block and S fellowships is the outhouse there, I'm sure that just like alcoholism, depression have been destigmatized in years the attitude described in the previous statement will get more mature. I did get a lot of helpful information from this talk, thank you very much for this. There really has to be a Surgeon General just for Mental Health as it is a whole another problem that would require a more gentle approach and address the scattered/disorganized treatment approaches to addressing mental health issues. The triage of the mental wellness is yet to be perfected. Thank you very much again for this brilliant webinar.

You can thank me later: What is the internal family system? IFS Therapy: Techniques, Benefits, Considerations Internal family systems, or IFS, is a type of therapy that believes we are all made up of several parts or sub-personalities. It draws from structural, strategic, narrative, and Bowenian types of family therapy.
