The old series was actually way out of date, big changes here. Who was unlucky to miss out?

I spent years trying to get my friends to play this franchise. This past year I finally convinced one I've known since we were 6 (25 now) to download it. He finally did and I had just gotten a new job and was busy and put off time to play with him....well he died at level 24 before I could co-op with him. It's all I've been playing since. I miss you Rocco. I'm glad I find myself building the best character I can, hoping one day I can try again. We would of had so much fun. I love this game.

The Kaoson is one of those guns that you can never go wrong with, no matter who you play as.

SMG's in the Borderlands franchise were always the best guns type to use but in Borderlands 3 took it to a whole new level!

I feel like once you use one of these SMG you just can’t ever go back to something like the Night Halkin or Ten Gallon

Man, early game shortly after the game came out, the Night Hawkin was my jam. I miss those days. But damn I love the Kaoson…

My favorite smg is the Kaoson honestly. It just feels smooth when shooting it imo.

Something to note about the Smog is that it's actually very usable on every character. It's a little known fact that every time you kill an enemy with the Smog, it completely regenerates its shield, giving it the damage amp once again. This makes it eminently usable on Fl4k and Amara in particular. Also, although it has apparently fallen out of favor due to options like the Plasma Coil, the Blood-Starved Beast is absolutely still a beast of an SMG, easily able to take on bossing and mobbing content.

I forced myself to farm her and got lucky enough to get it on my 2nd run and haven't been back to farm for another. That being said its an amazing gun and I was fortunate enough to get a good cryo version and only had to reroll its anointment, it absolutely slaps

@@ruthlessrobk7327 The only thing the Kaoson has over the Smog is the splash damage and stickies. That makes it much more synergistic with certain builds than the Smog which has no splash damage component. As far as raw damage goes though, the Smog is head-and-shoulders above the Kaoson.

Blood Starved Beast should be here, top 5 imo. I’ve never been able to make the Redistributor work, but haven’t tried it on Fl4k.

Right on. The only thing bad about the Blood-Starved Beast is its drop source. Smh.

I got a Rad ++ Dark Army, put it on Zane with his drone, and I literally can't kill anything because the drones do all the work. Also threw on an OPQ System with Infernal Wish to have more drones.

You're doing something wrong. I use a dark army with my clone and I literally don't have to shot anything. They kill everything. Not the best for bossing.

They are if you have the DLCs. Base game I think the Shotguns edge them out, but I play mostly as Flak so a little bias.

Finishing this game mixed me with so many emotions i cannot bare to handle and I never been so hurt in this game this hard

First as usual a fun informative and professional video. I would prefer the best "smg" and not necessarily the "legendary". Losing a weapon like the "crit" which is just an amazing.

Getting to the top 3 and hadn’t seen the flipper yet, I was starting to get worried my main squeeze wasn’t in there lol I carry 2 for covering all elements, though I most often just use the corrosive one on Moze with URAD, and tossing hex nades. This gets me all but the cryo damage simultaneously and seriously rips thru everyone without ever letting go of the trigger heheh. Increased fire rate makes it even better and you’ll never have to worry about the ammo either

The Redistributor is so good that I managed to keep the barrier up with Zane the entire way through the Maliwan blacksite, only having to reapply it during those intermission periods.

Moze can run the redistributor with a bloodletter and a low level amp shield it’s surprisingly effective too almost like Zane’s shield set with a bit less survivability.

Got this game yesterday and Steam round it 91 minutes later which they they in less than 10 minutes. Had the stuttering issues which none of the solutions fixed. Didn't even realise untill I wondered why it was happening that the devs never fixed it and even 30 series cards have it. What a shame ill ass 2k to the be wary list.

i think the kaoson is way too high on this list, i quit playing for a year and just got back and raising my characters from 60 to 72 and with amara i cant kill a damn thing with my kaoson yet my plasma coil is 8 levels under my level and still melts stuff

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I haven't seen any Amara build on your channel for lvl 71 M11.

I’m actually surprised that the Blood Starved Beast isn’t on the list. The Dark Army could be swapped with it and go into honorable mentions. Along with the Khaos, Proprietary License, maybe even BotD. K6 put BSB in like 5 or 6. The Needle Gun is pretty much the Baby Maker of BL2. If the Crit was a legendary, where would you put it?

The BSB is a little inconsistent for me. It's still good but doesn't really shine where you expect it to. If the Crit was a legendary I'd put it at number 2.

Proprietary License, Blood-Starved Beast, and the Boomer are also really good SMGs. The Troubleshooter is good with the right build with its gimmick to alter its element depending on the enemy.

I’m kkinda trash
