I have reliably farmed the Old God from Amach. He is a cultist with 1blue health bar followed by 2 red who spawns in Curshaven in between the Olmstead Square and Lanterns Hook fast travel stations on the edge of the map. Spawn at Lanterns Hook and head right across the bridge and make your way to the back of the little area. He will drop down through a portal on the porch of one of the buildings against the back right of the area. I dont know his drop rates but hes what I use to farm it.

I'll also mention that he has a 100% spawn rate so you dont have to worry about him being a rare spawn

As someone who hasn’t played since august 2020, the old god definitely has dedicated drops.

Thank you for covering the nova burner its super underrated and I love to use the marksman nova burner for zane as it can destroy bosses

Thanks for keeping it coming sgz! Two more ideas for after or during best manufacturer. One is best blue and purple uniques, could be a fun list. Another at the end of series that could be good is top 10 manufacturer types - for example - jakobs pistols, torque shotguns, vladof launchers, dahl ARs, Maliwan smgs.

It is good defense but boring. The Novas, Black Hole, Big Amp heavy thing are fun. For takedowns I usually use Transformer

There is no top grenade... I find Quasar most useful cause it disrupts and rips the shields. My Radiation Hex is great eye candy and effective. My best was a Blue. That blue exploded 4 times in a line and bounced off stuff, each explosion set a bullet barrage . It did that away from you and then back to you, It was awesome. Surge, Widowmaker , Red Queen etc almost all legendary Grenades are absolutely worth less. I test them at Mayhem 11 at the Anvil and right next to spawn is Floodmore Basin for very tough Ceratops etc. Don't go deep in anvil a ton of super hard harasses and annointed ones.

Picked up the class mod for moze that turns healing into shield healing and I HAD to start levelling moze so I could use that with Hail + Version 0.m, that was the initial idea but I guess anything with lifesteal could be massive since every amped shot will set up another one right after anyway

The plus ultra is my favorite. Im a zane main and moze 2nd. Use it for both. My zane literally cant die because basically nothing can 1 shot me and life steal just refills it, and my moze has like 3m health in iron bear. Only way it dies is if i splash myself

I have a Deathless Fl4k build, with the Deathless artifact, and I use pretty much just the 150% radiation anointments with the Old God buffing radiation damage

The Badass Zealot you baited at 3:36 slapping herself in the face had me in stitches. Great Edit. Suggestion, if you add 1-2 jokes per video you make, your channel might boom, otherwise keep the good content coming :)

Band of Sitorak could be mentioned as well since it got buffed a week ago

The Void Rift is wonderful on a cryo Zane with a good Icebreaker artifact to go with it. Chillin and killin like a boss.

I was watching this vid while farming it, and while I want/still need a Hypercharge (- recharge delay/+ recharge rate), I just got a RAID, which is arguably almost as nice (double - recharge delay stat) !! Still on the lookout for that Hypercharge Stop-Gap though (with shock resist would be nice).

Heh... no love, not even an honorable mention, for my favorite shield... The Re-Charger. My lvl 72 recharger may not have any special killer effects like nova blasts or amps, but it's high capacity (83k+) with it's instant recharge has saved my bacon on more than one occasion. I didn't even have to farm McMidget in Lectra City fotvit. Got it out of the Eridium slot machine in Moxxi's bar on Sanctuary.

Bulwark Front Loader shield for my build Mose -just outstanding

Right now my go to is the Plus Ultra... Just a beast on my phasegrasp Amara.. She can survive anything. The red suit is attainable through Earl's Vending machine as well, so its not exclusive to whoever you said dropped it "only". I have seen a few in that machine.

Such variety back then. So many builds to try. Kinda defaulted to revolter now. It's too OP

Yeah the only shield ive ever used is the transformer, but i might try the band of siterack

My personal favorite is the transformer. Back when killavolt had that problem with all the platforms would shock you, it made killing him easy since he literally only uses shock weapons. I wish they one one like for fire

surprised to see stop gap as an honorable mention, i have an action skill start on my amara, quite helpful and i couldn't see myself using another

Anointments are bonus traits to gear listed at the bottom of the item description. They are rare at lower levels, but you will start to see them once you get toward level 65, especially after you start playing upper Mayhem levels. The anointment descriptions are usually pretty straightforward on what they do. They might not help you -- for example if you play Amara, then a Zane-only anoint won't be useful. But it also won't hurt.

Great video. Fascinating suggestions here, but I've used Transformer for my splash Moze main forever so I've gotta stick with it. I don't have to think because my brain is wired to shock immunity. Also, any time I'm in trouble, I unleash my shock Complex Root which deletes that pesky mob swarm and the massive shock AOE heals me at the same time.

That's funny cuz I just got Frozen heart playing with an two other buddies of mine in one of their worlds. With no Mayhem

Honestly the Altruist Rico and the Double Downer are both incredibly to.

Not really. Reflection outside of the Beskar isnt useful. You still take the damage, and enemy damage is not scaled to do any meaningful damage to each other.

You might want to search KZread for Moze builds. I'm still old school: I go with splash bonuses in the skill tree because I like blowing shit up. So, I stick with weapons that do splash damage. That means fighting at medium range so I don't blow myself up! Others go with bottomless mags builds for infinite ammo, or Iron Bear/Iron Cub builds. Along with splash I have a pretty powerful Iron Bear, but I typically only jump into him when I'm in trouble.

After a year, moving on, would you still keep it at these? Or would the Re-volter, super soldier have a place in the top 5?

If you find the right spots in the arena you can shoot all the crystals without even jumping on the hovering platforms its kinda tricky but defenitely worth it since it will speed up the farm tremendously

Yeah currently farming one been at it for 4 days trying to get one with action skill start

Revolt is definitely the best sheild

So how come when I shot myself with the kill of the wisp which is shock damage while we’re in the transformer every time I just die

He said DLC 1 instead of DLC 2 for the void rift

Do shields scale with mayhem level? If I want a shield does it matter if i get it at mayhem 11 or mayhem 1?

No but it will drop more, the only thing mayhem level does for sheilds is increase legendary droprates, meaning itll be easier to get said shields

BL2 was the Bee, Blackhole, Terramorphous and Transformer ( depending on situations ) BL3 Transformer, Novaburner, Redsuit ( radiation build ) oh and Frontloader

Top shield for me in Bl2 was Bee and Sham. Was only ever able to get a 90%.

Unfortunately because Moze can't activate her action skills very often it's not great on her. Plus Ultra would be better for survivability.

@@SpartanGameZone ok bro I don’t have dlc content right now so Carnt get plus ultra and also as soon as I throw my cloning maddening tracker grenade it procks one of my action skills think it’s the critical hit one I get one of the blue symbols appear at bottom o my screen indicating action skill active so therefore the shield should activate 🤔I don’t know I’m new to the game still learning but keep the vids coming bro always enjoy your top tens dude😎👍appreciate the quick response also👊

The best shield I have ever had in all 4 games was a Blue.. It did constant damage when depleted, a Nova and 80% melee damage. Then my purple was the same but did amp damage instead of melee.

Is that the one that drops grenades and rocket ammo? That is one of my favorites also, mine also comes with amp damage.

I got a Legendary shield with 0 values so how does that work?

I have killed the empowered scholar around 200 times now with no ASS Void Rift. Kill me.

Recently added shields Super Soldier, Infernal Wish and Re-Volter are also very strong due to their special abilities. Super Soldier with action start anointment is probably the best shield on Cannon Zane

All these borderlands lists have one thing in common; they're for life wasters who get to level 50 - 75 and have madness mode(s) unlocked. Making this list relevant for about only 10% of players.
