Dangit I knew I had forgotten something from the probability calculation (the actual drop chance :D ) and I think I made a small mistake with the fire selectors (2/3 instead of 1/3). So updated probability: 83.3% for 3 barrel accessories (according to Lootlemon and K6) 1 in 2 for right bolt Rail and scope don't matter 1 in 3 for right magazine 18.9% for right foregrip 20% for right grip 34.5% for right stock 5*8.2% for any element 2 in 3 for either of the full auto fire selectors AND either 16.5% drop chance from Traunt or 50% for Arbalest of Discipline 0.833*(1/2)*(1/3)*0.189*0.2*0.345*0.082*5*(2/3)*0.165 ~= 1 in 12247 from Traunt 0.833*(1/2)*(1/3)*0.189*0.2*0.345*0.082*5*(2/3)*0.5 ~= 1 in 4041 from Arbalest of Discipline If we factor in the time for each run, Traunt can be done in maybe a minute, factoring in save quit between runs. Arbalest of discipline, I dunno, 8 minutes for the whole run? So we get 12247*1min ~=204h farm time from Traunt or 4041*8min ~= 539h from Arbalest of Discipline. Someone double check these, if I'm still missing something.

Trying to math here: LL says barrels have 2-3 accessories. If each part is 83.3% spawn chance, that means there’s a 16.7% chance each doesn’t spawn, or a 50-50 between 2 vs 3 accessories I assume. LL description says to assume unlabeled chances are equal, so bolt is 50-50 for dmg vs fire rate buff Mag is 1 in 3 for dmg buff Dmg foregrip is 18.9% chance Grip for x2 projectiles is 20% chance Crit dmg stock is 34.5% Fire element is 8.2% You also want full auto, which is a 2 in 3 chance between the switchable modes For a grand total of… (drumroll please) .00594% chance, or 1 in 16,824

I do not think the % chance is the most important if you want to compare with the sham or revolter, i think you need to multiply it with the time required for one try. The SHAM is very long the try, while the revolter is very fast to farm. I do not have the time required for each one, which will win ? Revolter or Kaoson. Otherwise seems awfull and so long to farm, i am lucky to play with Baland mod, on Mayhem 11 where you can nearly got 3 revolter per try.

Thankfully I found mine at some point awhile ago without even realizing it; it's non-elemental, but it rolled with all the damage increase parts... The base damage is 27,358. I have an incendiary one as well which has a base damage of 20,844. I plan to hunt the other elemental ones later tonight for something to do; need a reason to play again. I also have a 2x one which is non-elemental and it does 21,886x2. I also use them with my Urad Moze so they have "While under 50% health, deal 150% bonus radiation damage". I used the Crazy Earl roller on them.

1:31 legit a perfect cryo butcher 173% s max damage and 21% is the highest crit multiplier that can roll on it (actually unsure of this ^, but last time i checked it's max crit, or at least close to it without sacrificing something in return)

I am so used to really rare stuff in games lol. When you said it was 1/4041 I was like oh that's not bad I have hunted plenty of shiny pokemon in gen 6 and beyond at full odds of 1/4096. Also hunted a lot that are in the 1/8192 ( Gen 5 and below ) range. But then I realised just how many hours I have hunting those things and just how lucky I usually am. You are in for the long haul with this one man, gl with it. Hopefully you get it under odds!!!

There's no way the Gearbox devs haven't heard of K6's Linoge curse. For BL4 let's hope they give us a pistol like the Linoge. It could be a bandit gun with increased accuracy and the red text being "Nope nope nope nope" 😂😂

Super excited for this and the new playthrough-DAHL is my favorite manufacturer in the game! also, looks like I'm joining you guys in playing on PC, my ps4 keeps crashing almost every time I try to load so it's pretty much kaput.

My suggestion for customization in Borderlands: at a workbench, you can break down guns at the cost of Eridium. This will give you weapon parts - scopes, trigger groups, barrells etc. You can then change parts in an existing gun by spending Eridium. Use five Flippers to build a god roll one. Let it cost 10,000 Eridium, and I won't mind being yelled at by Crazy Earl while doing it. Farming the same stupid enemy for hours isn't exactly fun either.

I’ve seen a few people suggest this but it kills one of the main aspects of these games. The farming. Granted not everyone has the stupid amount of time I do to farm, so I get it. But BL3 solved this by making it so you don’t NEED God Rolls to have the gun be good

So, if my math is correct (and assuming these are the right parts and percentages off of Lootlemon): there's a 16.5% chance for it to drop, 83.3% for each barrel accessory to happen (^3 for all 3 to occur), 50% for Bolt (Damage), 33% for the 18size Mag, 18.9% for the Foregrip (+Damage), 20% for Grip (for the extra projectile), 34.5% for Stock (+Crit Damage), and an 8.2% for the Fire Element. Total comes out to... 0.00168% for every run or 0.0102% assuming the weapon drops to have all accompanying parts.

I think the reason why someone people say it's easier to get legendaries in bl3 (not counting the world drops rate) is because unlike bl2 even a bad roll parts on some legendaries can still good ones

Yeah, parts don't matter as much in bl3, generally you can keep a mediocre roll and still shred stuff with it. Personally I think it's a good thing, having to get the good prefix and matching grip all the time in bl2 was pretty annoying.

Why I love bl3 more than bl2, you don't need god roll anything to kill stuff

I feel like pearls should be "Prototype Weapons" in a sense that they're weapon types manufacturers don't make, like a hyperion rocket launcher or jakobs smg, imagine a torgue or bandit sniper

Traunt here is where I go to farm with the Shlooter, it's been the best place for variety of loot.

gets a devastator for the last run while trying to get a good roll kaoson left devastated lol

I didn’t know what a god roll was before this video lol, but I have 4 of these kaosons from using the diamond key glitch and farming the wall, two of them are ice and fire with 21278x2 damage and full auto/single fire, the other two are radiation and acid damage with 19788 damage and full auto/single fire all mayhem 10 and maaaybe 6 hours on the diamond key wall?

Everytime I see a farm video by you I get tempted to just use moze as she seems so fun for melts

As of today I finally found a God Rolled x2 Incendiary Kaoson Full Auto (Fire Rate: 9.65); it rolled with the "Killing" anoint. Now the hunt continues for the others. Considering I have both god rolled non-elementals and now both the incendiary's now; I don't have god rolls of any other element so far. I did find one god rolled radiation x2, but it sadly had burst fire....

I haven’t played bl3 in a minute but how is your backpack space 100? Wasn’t the max space 72? Or around 70’s ?

Borderlands 4 change I think would be cool is parts swapping, so if you have a weapon you like but has bad parts all you need to do is find similar weapons such as same manufacturer and weapon type, then remove the parts from said weapon and apply it onto your weapon of choice, So a build your own god roll.

Huh? There’s a bunch of great dlc for the game but you don’t NEED DLC for this gun

The Kaoson is one of the most sleeper weapons in BL3.

It would be cool if you could collect or swap the attachments if you have multiple of the same gun. Also it would be cool if there was a way to upgrade the weapon level or a gun similar to in cyberpunk so that if you found a god roll by chance early it wouldn't be useless endgame

You get that initial damage and then the extra splash from the exploding stickies. Which character were you on?

I can copy my main Moze which has the god rolled incendiary and give it to you if that's all you're really after; not a 2x however. I totally get it if you want to do it yourself. Just figure I'd make a friendly offer. Edit: I just checked my game... I apparently have 2 incendiary god rolls; one with a scope and one without... I also have these elements with the 2x - Shock, Radiation, and Cryo; not god rolls. I haven't found a Corrosive one yet it seems.
