The Michael achievement is actually really cool even if it was tedious. It's actually an achievement for a fan who passed away due to cancer. They were touched by his love of the game and decided to memorialize him forever in one of his favorite games, and I think that's just beautiful man

The easiest way to get Jimmy Jenkins would be to use the “doctor’s orders” mission exploit in the wildlife preserve. If you go to the underdome area in the wildlife preserve and exit from there you’ll always spawn just before the area with all the loaders where you get blood wings feather. Then I’m the room with the chest and 4 boxes, don’t pick up the recording (or you can’t repeat the exploit) and just open the cardboard boxes which each spawn a loot midget and after a few runs one of them should eventually be a jimmy jenkins.

You can pick up the recording and loot midgets will spawn. Just do not turn in the mission and everything is going to work :D

I got insanely lucky. My first ever play through I got him in that exact spot and didn’t even know it was an achievement. My friend who had played it multiple times got up and walked away pissed and I didn’t know why till he finally calmed down and told me. He spent a good hour n 15 tryna get him to pop out. 🤣 he said and I quote “RNG can lick my fkn taint.” 🤣🤣

Borderlands 2 was my favorite game for the longest time. I'm glad to see yoma having the peaks and valleys of trying to get the 100 percent completions haha

I already know he’ll hate this game from start to finish cos he doesn’t care about the game, only the achvs. I don’t really like AH like this, cos they hate every game and give them bad reviews based on them not wanting to put into effort and forcing themselves to play games they simply never liked.

"It's Like That One Video" is a reference to a bit by The Dead Alewives that was later made into an 8bit reenactment of D&D (in around 2010) which is what I'd recommend watching over the live bit. They're basically all high. At one point the DM is describing a new area they've entered, and one of the mages says "I cast magic missile.", to which the DM basically goes "huh? There's nothing to attack?" And the mage replies "I cast magic missile at the darkness."

Congrats yoma! Been wanting to return to finish the DLC trophies for the trilogy for a while myself, def gonna have to do it soon!

Love it. I'm looking forward to seeing you tackle The Pre-Seqeul. Just to give you some warning, there is one RNG achievement that puts all others to shame. You need co-op partners, a specific skill and a bit of luck on the timing when activating the action skill.

I love borderlands 2, played the hell out of it on the 360. decided to 100% it on steam last year and its so funny seeing you experience the same pain I did with getting those damn rare enemies in the hammerlock dlc to spawn. Running through the map to travel to the next one so you could travel back to set your spawn there and then reloading the game 30 - 50 times to get ONE SPAWN OUT OF EIGHT

I'm so close to finishing this myself. I just need to beat the Tiny Tina raid boss. I'll probably get around to it next year after work calms down from the holidays.

For your jimmy jenkins achievment you could have done a lootmidget farm in wildlife preservation i normally get a jimmy there like every 5 to 10 runs very easy

Yeah, this is definitely the way to go, go to the WEP, go halfway through, go into the slaughterdome there, walk right back out, go to the room with the 2nd echo log (you must kill all the loaders in the outside area first), open all four boxes, each have somewhere around a 90% chance to spawn a loot midget, which all have a chance of being Jimmy, and DO NOT pick up the echo log, instead, save-quit, and do it again until you get it. (This is more of a guide for anyone else who needs this achievement or just wants to farm legendary gear fairly quickly and easily)

cool to see you get this one man, i just platinumed bl2 this year after jus playing randomly for a while, i found the gold ranking challenge trophies the most annoying fr. borderlands always had a special place in my heart just bc i grew up with it. was hoping youd do this game at some point.

The reason you felt some of the dlc were bad is because there is headhunter dlc and expansion dlc, the headhunters were mainly for a skin and possibly a weapon of some sort not 100%

the volume bug is caused by reverb and some some sound effects being attached to global mix instead of sfx mix. so i recommend lowering the volume from windows settings and not ingame-

i think what made the last dlc in bl2 so cool was simply that it released like a decade after the games life cycle

Fun fact, that last achievement, thevone where you freakef out bdcausevyou got the toothpick first try? Drop rates are increased while you have the mission equipped that lets the sandwirs spawn. You usually get the toothpick or retainer killing both groups.

The last DLC for Borderlands 2 was originally for the pre sequel which was going to be Luxy's space adventure. Wish they kept it for the pre sequel.

For what I recall Jimmy spawns anywhere loader midgets can spawn, so primarily the nature reserve because of the doctor's order side quest, that's how you grind Jimmy That's how you , that's how you kill Jimmy

Surprised you found this game to be harder than the first game. I guess if you’re specifically just playing the game to get all achievements, I get it but playing through the game in True or Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode makes getting a lot of these easier. Also, when you mentioned loud noises, I instantly thought of the Moonshiner lol.

Bl2 has some of the weirdest scaling, Normal and TVHM aren't so hard you can still kill stuff normally, but once UVHM hits you have to almost slag everything or your not gonna kill stuff.

@@belleybutton4335 Yeah. UVHM can be brutal sometimes. As much as people like to trash on the game, The Pre Sequel did UVHM better imo.

The tiny Tina dlc did come out around the same time as the other 3. They just re-released it as a stand alone game right before tiny tinas wonderland, not borderlands 3, came out.

Tiny Tina DLC is my favorite DLC of any game to this day.

I’ll be honest, Hammerlocks “rare” enemies mission really wasn’t that bad for me. The first catch a ride near the lodge often has a 2 legged drifter, I’d not there’s several more on the other side of the lodge Near the shack in front of the catch a ride on the cliff edge is a spore spawn, I realized that early on, and I managed to get all 4 slagged spores quickly without using a save-exit Albino skags can be farmed in their den where you do claptrap’s piss stained mission Pink boraks can be farmed in the backside of initial spawn, I’d recommend going into Scylla’s Grove for the spawn point and save/exit there, go outside back into Hunters Grotto, rinse repeat until done. I got it done pretty quick this way. I can’t remember what I did for the tailless ones, I think I got lucky with them honestly, the only spot I really know of off the top of my head is outside of the Voracidous area

Crazy there's no achievement for beating the op10 boss seaming as that's one of the craziest things you can do

finished this grind myself a week or two ago, honestly the worst part was getting to fifty. and doing the rare monster quest grind in sir hammerlocks dlc. The rest really weren't that grindy. Oh and the do every lv 1 challenge, only because i had to literally had tp ask my gf to install bl2 to do the co op challenges lmao. the rest you can mostly do just with casual playing.

I have 28,000 hours in borderlands 2 over multiple consoles and accounts, and ive only just recently 100%ed the achievements. That level 1 challenge one was so difficult with the multitude of bar resets over the years :( but hey, at least most of those arent ACTUALLY required but the achievement doesnt tell you that

The shoot the darkness DnD reference is based on DnD lore I would guess. A plane of reality in DnD is called the Abyss, which was made basically by taking a physical manifestation of evil into the plane of reality of which the gods reside. The abyss is the home of demons, which are basically borne from it & it’s an ever expanding plane of existence. To “shoot the darkness” if this is a DnD reference, would be to destroy the abyss, which would be a basically impossible task & be a cosmological victory for good & lawful evil, as demons constantly war with hell against the devils, as well as repeatedly try to invade the prime material (the regular plane of reality in which planets reside).

By the way, Tiny Tina better known in this series as Ashley Burch, was a small time you tuber with a channel called HAWP(hey ashe whatcha playin) where her and her brother would get up to zany antics and generally grief each others games for the memes of it or do skits that they came uo with, 2k loved her voice and energy so much that they casted her, if you go back to some of her pre-BL2 content she still sounds the exact same, she was always destined to be THE Tiny Tina

34:10 "We got some insane RNG" The Peak Opener has a 33% (1 in 3) drop chance from that chest. It is a 1 in 15 to get a perfect one. The rarest possible drop chance that gun can have is 6.67% (which is for a specific part combination of the gun) (I know way too much about the game)

I played the Handsome colelct in ps and I never got the audio bug. I wonder if its just tied to the pc version.

My 1st chubby kill I didnt even see the mon. My Axton turret just shot smt and achi popped, lol.

I cant say for sure if this is the case with 3, but the actual combat in The Pre Sequal is better than in 2, imo. Low gravity makes it a lot more fun, and oz kits give you more versatility. That, and lazer guns.

Honestly makes me kinda sad you didn’t get the dlc when you were younger, it was my favorite part of the game, especially Tiny Tina’s dragon one. I then replayed it as an adult and found myself getting really bored. I think you would’ve loved them when you were younger. Crazy how video game age so differently.

Still watching but looking to see if you the double rainbow achievement Yayy you did! I still don't get it tho😂
