Taka Brute dude if DOT stacked Gaige would be the deadliest character bar none as she can greatly boost her shock DOT to the point where only actually resistant enemies like shock creatures and ION loaders stand a chance. If DOT stacked she'd just need a Ricochet Fibber, a shock bone, and a catalyst com and she'd be unstoppable with Wires Don't Talk that stacks with anarchy. 200 stacks plus 10/5 wires don't talk means she'd be doing like 300% extra shock DOT that also stacked.

I don't think it would make much difference in terms of mobbing. The time you use to stack DoT on an enemy is roughly equal to the amount of time you need to kill said enemy. Builds that can outright kill an enemy like Sniper or Melee Zer0 would still be better for mobbing. For raid bosses? It will definitely make a difference for Maya and Gaige in terms of raiding, but i still can't see them killing, say, Terramorphous faster than Lyuda Zer0/Double Interfacer Salvador. Stacking DoT would also make Zer0 disgusting. Remember that the Pimpernel has the potential to connect 6 pellets per shot. Now consider the fact that each pellet has 63% chance of applying DoT.

Gaige kills Terra already faster than Lyuda Zer0. Just combine a slag crossfire, a ricochet fibber and 600 stacks of anarchy... I've seen people take out Terra with that in about 3 seconds.

Technically it's a infinitely auto reloading weapon, the magazine has one bullet that it fires and is instantly replenished. If the magazine was infinite, they could have put an infinity symbol instead.

Still fun having everyone using DLC items with base ones so interchangeably that it’s impossible to tell the difference.

A little help here? I'm new to BL2 (after years of BL1), now crankin in my 2nd playthrough (TVHM)... trying to update my earlier Infinity weapons to come closer to my most recent level. I got em in the 34-36 level range when I was just starting my TVHM playthrough and I was in similar levels. This weekend I took a break and jumped ahead and farmed the heck outta Dragon Keep's forest for a Bee Shield; I just leveled to 48 while there, and jumped back to right when Sanctuary rose up... so I'm heading to the Fridge (it's at level 45), checked back to farm Doc Mercy for newer higher level infinitys BUT he's still droppin em at 34 to 35 levels. Am I screwed now by Three Horn Valley locking in that earlier level or will this go up at some point? Any help will be very appreciated, thanks all- Marty Mooz

The levels reset to 50 when you complete the story. So, for now, you're fucked. Maybe try out some other weapons?

I find this gun very good in a gunzerker build with a grog nozzle, it makes for consistent healing unlike the dpuh and can be controlled with some of the gunzerker skill points. (The drunk effect can be a major annoyance, if so use Rubi from Rakkaholics Anon)

If you want to wreck enemies with this gun, use sheriff's badge. For classes, goes as such: Sal- any class mod that boosts fire rate and/or damage Axton- Heavy gunner Krieg- hellborn build and elemental variants Maya- legendary binder(Watch derch's video on it) Gaige- Chaotic neutral com Zero- pick your poison, because all of them will wreck with critical hits plus kill skills boosting them further. It's a good gun, but like Luke said, there are much better options much more easily accessible.

Although all the testing is great, one thing worth trying is to try to max out the fire rate. Sheriff’s badge, Chaotic Evil Rogue mod, and a rough rider for fearless boosts. It is ridiculous for mobbing in my opinion buI slightly more dangerous

infinity on gaige is near impossible because your main skills reduce magazine size

I enjoyed seeing your breakdown and testing of the Infinity's DPS. I like seeing when skilled players demonstrate the thought process behind their gameplay. Great video as usual, Luke.

Is Gwen's Head good with Zer0? I want to say it has a good Type B crit bonus on it.

Not everyone has access to an Chaotic Evil Rogue class mod, or any of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragonkeep weapons or relics or other class mods

Also get it from the fire gollum in that dwarf mine place

My favorite thing to do is Slag enemies and tank with dual DP unkempt harolds on sal Edit: with the bee shield

You have to make some sacrifices to use the Infinity with Gaige. Smaller, Lighter, Faster reduces the mag size to 0. So, you either have to avoid most of the Anarchy tree or use a Neutral Necromancer class mod.

The Friendliest Penguin From Antartica Zero has ambush and death mark. They are multiplicative to damage. With a spy com, you can get 2.592 times the damage of a tediore reload. Just enter deception after some avengers are thrown for the ambush bonus. Watch demonites video on grenade zero. Hes no axton, but hes good.

I prioritize survivability higher than some and play more defensively than some people. This is why I stay up more often, but they go quicker.

Gunzerker with slag infinity would be pretty good

I used to use this with a bee shield and healing as a siren

if i didnt want a dlc class mod for fire rate on zero i would use the infultrator class mod because it has,more fire rate for all guns and melee damge boost and for me when i use infinity on zero i wanted pure fire rate i mean the fire rate i got seemed like a minigun with out the feeling because of the damage thanks to 1 shot 1 kill

I find the Infinity is better for Maya in multiplayer builds using Restoration.

I'm personally not a big fan of the sniper com in this scenario, simply because you take a rather hefty shield capacity penalty and your two passive bonuses are completely wasted because you aren't using a sniper. The Chaotic Evil Rogue will still provide a decent little bonus through vel0city which I think also helps a bit with the spread and there's just not as much that goes to waste and you don't have to deal with a direct penalty. Sherriffs badge vs bone is mostly based on your opinion but the badge obviously benefits every infinity and I just don't think that decepti0n is as big of a deal if you are really going for an infinity build.

It's kind of sad that despite the fact that a slag infinity would be the most viable version of the weapon, it would still get upstaged by a slag pimpernel. I think the Infinity has shit elemental damage chance though. What was it, like, 6% or something?

Infinity is pretty bad compared to Zeros other options but I like having one in my inv just in case i run out of ammo. With the right spec, it gets the job done

I miss the the big spread, it was good for taking out whole group of enemies. Especially skags...

What if there was a zer0 skill that increased the amount time you could be in decepetion by .5 seconds every level and increased the amount of time in between each deceptions by 15% each level. So 7.5 second deception and 75% longer cooldowns. Something like that. In the melee tree?

Wouldn't it give 9 seconds in deception at 5/5 with 75% longer cooldown? Anyway on melee zero I wouldn't prefer it because of MMF and gun zeros wont care either. Lower cooldown is always better for zero -- in fact I would take lower cooldown for a penalty.

What about farming for an Inflammable Bee so you don't get a DoT from Hot loaders..? Also with Anarchy, it makes the Infinity mag 0 which means you can't use it

I loved that Yoteslaya reference. But also, would you not rather use the "Vengeful" prefix for the increased fire-rate? Edit: My mistake, I just did some calculations and when it comes to DPS the "Purging" prefix has a significantly higher DPS than the "Vengeful" prefix

Vengeful deals more DPS if you're using the Infinity as a Bee delivery system. It depends on what your build is.

Maya is the most well designed and provides the best overall survivability, weapon variety, and build viability (are the skills potent? Do they work?) These three aspects are what I judge characters on and here is my list. 1.) Maya (Meets all 3 demands) 3/3 2.) Zero (doesn't have survivability)2/3 3.) Axton (falls in the middle) 4.) Krieg (low weapon variety,) 2/3 5.) Salvador (high survivability, overpowered weapons and skills are required, gunzerk requires you to organize your equipped weapons) 6.) Gaige (lots of survivability, low build viability, low weapon variety meaning not many weapons will work.)

Gaige actually does have a lot of different options, it's just that most people either go with shamfleeting or AnarchyFibberBee because they are easiest and strongest. Doesn't mean for example melee Gaige isn't viable though.

Except that what i said is completely plausible. You can be a semi-decent shot and not ignore ammo drops, and you'll literally never run out of ammo. Take fiber's videos for example. Have you seen him run out of sniper ammo when running through a map? Infinity is nothing more than a noob trap. Like marcus said, "You don't need to be a good shot, you just need to shoot more bullets".

Actually, you can, you just need a Tiny Tina Class Mod that increases mag size. (I believe they are the "Neutral" ones, I dunno) - it's still shitty tho. The only reason it has going for it is the infinite ammo and maybe the constant health regen from Cooking Up Trouble.

man i'm watching your videos looks like i know a bit zero skills. though i didn't play zero and didn't plan to do it, i play maya. but anyway it's very interesting. as for infinity it's solid good pistol. it is a strong pistol. maybe you use it not the best way? infinity as vladof pistol is good on close-to medium range. i prefer anarchist. vladof pistol's is solid but not enough to use at that range. you shoot at smg-range. compare the bitch to infinity. though infinity shows better stats on paper (damage x fire rate) bitch kills enemies MUCH quicker. sniper-grade accuracy and you can use the bitch up to sniper-range easily. it focus on target. infinity does not and it not supposed to do that. but that's the bitch it's an exceptional smg, but overall smgs rather more accurate than vladof pistols. it's not only digits just to try it against the wall. smgs is designed to play like this mid-to-high range. and i use vladof pistols on maya only as a reserve weapon. thank you for that complete analysis of infinity and some new thoughts on it

Wow, that pistol is so boring it even took the entertainment out of this run. I wouldn't even put it in the top 100 of Zer0's best weapon choices just for that.

the infinity never sucked though. it's one of the better legendaries in the game imo

Anthony Ayon It's good but take into consideration that the infinity is like an anarchist. The anarchist has a better spread and works better with accuracy increases.
