Absolutely fantastic, the table runner is gorgeous and the place-mats such a great idea too. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Love it, my ruler was languishing in my cupboard so dragged it out with the material still wrapped and got the same amount of lovely bits out of it, thank you so much for showing us this

Thanks! I was gifted a LOT of border prints and I've been playing with a ruler today and was curious how this runner was made. You made it so easy!

I love this pattern! It's a great piece to do up for craft shows ~ different fabrics give each such a unique look. (I have never seen anyone cut this way with a rotary cutter before).

Thank you for the tutorial. I also had purchased enough fabrics for several of these mats and runners, the directions were a little off for me, This has helped and now I want to pull out my said fabrics and make some gifts.

Thanks bunches! I just bought the pattern and ruler for this project, and the instructions are so horribly written that I couldn't make heads or tails out of it, so I went to KZread and found your video! You have saved my poor brain! If my pattern had your verbal instructions in it, I would have "gotten it!" God bless!

I only have the 8" triangle, but if you lay a regular ruler at 60' it should produce the same cut. Hope this helps. I have found many tutorials on how to use your standard ruler to cut shapes instead of buying tons of specialty rulers. good luck.

WOW - thank you for your demo. Getting ready to do a triple frenzy hexagon table topper. I noticed that you don't have binding around your table topper. I assume you sew around right sides together and turn it? Also do you quilt it before doing this or just leave alone? And for the most important question: How do you cut your fabric from top to bottom? I have never seen anyone do it this way and you make it seem so easy. 😃
