Amazingly, some people don't understand this but no one doubts that humans learn to walk on instinct. You don't need to teach a baby how to walk, they will figure it out on instinct because we have adapted that instinct for a very long time. And with working dogs, we have made sure that the rights instincts have been developed for many generations.

Incredible to see those natural instincts!

I love this so much. When I got my newest BC girl, I immediately signed her up for an instinct test, and by the time our appointment came up, Covid hit and everywhere shut down by local order. We're in Los Angeles, and as you can imagine, there aren't many sheep herding options in L.A. Then, during shutdown, the main/best facility moved to the other side of the country. My girl is 2.5yrs now, and I still yearn to get her with sheep, and I know she would love it. Thank you for sharing Spam with us!

Very nice. My male BC Einstein is more chaser, so I waited until he was one year to show him to be calm around sheep. He also worked in Reindeer in Finland.

I see some of Derek Scrimgeour's breeding going back to Ben and some Welsh lines with the Moel dog. I am not familiar with Swedish lines but they must be good.

Yes. Mother is from Ireland, a her mother bred the same way as P. Byrne Jim (by Lad). I don't know much about her father Sam. I bred the father. His mother is out of a Moel bitch by Jonas Gustafsson's Joe. His father is by Derek's Ben and lived in Norway.
