So many different ways to use pomegranates. I know your family loves to taste test all your new recipes. Your videos bring peace and happiness to my heart and your dog makes me laugh all the time. Thank you for sharing yourself and your family with us. You give us much more than we could ever give you. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

Wow!! What a great video. That looks like one hell of a well oiled machine there. It must be well managed.

what's the point of the self filling grain cart? Seems like a lot more maintenance and way easier to spill grain

Why don't the farmers knock down all those little trees scattered though the fields? Seen those in a lot of Australian ag videos. Sweet video!

I have a question , why the extension on the grain carts? Can't combine reach ?

+Peter Hanson The reason we have the extension tables is due our controlled traffic farming system whereby all machines run on dedicated tramlines that are 12 metres apart. This is to reduce compaction in our fields. The unloading auger only reaches to about 10 metres so the table is designed to bridge the gap.

+Living the Dream but i dont get why you want to drive on the same track each time ?? That just gives you more compaction :-/ Here we just have to avoid to drive on the same track to prevent compaction

+lepaul26 80% of soils compaction happens on the first pass therefore CTF compacts LESS of the field overall. It only really makes sense in zero till situations and for moisture efficiency. Aussies have sure perfected the system.

+lepaul26 By driving on the same track every pass overall compaction across the field is reduced even though compaction in the tram line is increased and this area has a lower yield. We operate in a no till system and retain all our stubble's so the CTF system is well suited to this operating model. We farm in moisture limited environments so retaining as much moisture in the soil is the main aim of the game. Reducing field compaction and concentrating compaction into tramlines allows us to harvest more moisture into the profile and allows deeper root penetration due to the reduced compaction layer from CTF which in turn allows the plant to access moisture from deeper in the profile.
