Portrait is actually SUCH a good song and I think is the best one on the album. It’s beautiful and sounds like something that would have been on one of her albums in the 90s. This album is one of the best things that she has put out in a while and she is getting so much better. I will always have so much love for Mariah and I am very proud of her.

+Thomas Tekno No Nicki already had the song and said yes before they gave it to Cardi. Nicki's verse was pending so they offered to Cardi just in case. Little Mix and Nicki did not release this song together and swipe Cardi as a way to spite her like what the heck. Besides, NONE of LM's previous lead singles have any features and anyways Wings, Move, Black Magic, and Shout out to my Ex wouldn't have worked with a Nicki collab, and Nicki knew it. The girls have expressed their love for Nicki over the years and Nicki loves the girls too and the song is great so can we just cut LM from all the drama cuz Woman Like Me is not a platform for all yall Nicki/Cardi feuders. My point was never who’s special or not (only a hater would mention one over the other) as you can read in my post, I never down played either artist. My point was, regardless of the logistics of who got it first, Cardi still got it! The label sent it to her or LM themselves, but she still got it. The original comment I was responding to stated that several artists were sent the sample, Cardi did not have to be one of them, but she was. Also, you do realize all of this “beef” was brought to light by Nicki’s welcome back interviews with Apple and flex, and then her own radio show, right? We didn’t know there was beef until then. Why are you claiming Cardi started it? I’m a fan of neither artist, but I do enjoy both artists music. This was never about picking sides, facts are facts.

In my opinion on the whole Little Mix, Cardi Nicki drama, I think they always wanted Nicki because they said they have been trying to get her on their song for 7 years apparently, but Nicki didn't find the perfect song so she always declined. I don't think little mix personally sends out songs, I think their management or label sends out the song to multiple people so they have options to choose from just in case Nicki says no again because the song is made to have a rapper.
