Yeah, because they have to pay people to design the figures, pay for the rights to make Spiderman and marvel merchandise,make sure the material is sturdy enough to play with for kids, etc this does not excuse Hasbro's abysmal prices though.

Bro I had the bootleg figure but I didn't notice the original was that big. I also noticed how it had a different head scult but no cape, so I made my own cape for it.

yes, the price tag on the official is a bit steep, but I was able to find someone selling it for _moderately_ more affordable what I will give this one however is that the unmasked heads he comes with are a bit more on-point as opposed to that- weird one the official comes with, his hair is too dark, his expression is not in-character at all, the skin tone is the only thing accurate about it I'll cop the head from the bootleg and turn the rest of it into white suit 2099 with Spiderverse proportions

I got a bootleg one and mine is acc amazing quality just the knee caps covers fall ever now and then but for 20$ its worth the gamble

Just tighten some joints and add a matte finish and this is the perfect replacement.

If anything this is better than the figuarts, it proves that it doesn’t cost much to make them, and they are ripping you off for $100

@@chukislukis yeah sure but i tried already and its doesnt quite fit, the peg on the original seems to be too big for the bootleg head hole. Granted i didnt wanna put alot of pressure while trying the head on the original but it just didnt wanna go in for me. With some blue tack or museum putty it would totally work though
