Oh thank you! I'm at that stage I'm not sure whether to cut it off again. It looks nice down, but I have it up all the time to keep it out of the way lol

Adorable! I really like this style 😊 I’ve been looking through my patterns for a backpack for a special girl - I think this fits the bill perfectly! Now that I think of it… I previously made a Bagette bag for this same little girl 😂 (Which she still carries) She has been begging me for a red backpack 😊

Oh lovely this is just what I need. My little one (I say little) is going to senior school in September and she uses a wheelchair. I was racking my brain for something stylish that she can carry which also goes onto the wheelchair and this pops up today… perfect! Could I just ask how long the video tutorial is please, anything over an hour and my brain stops 😊

Hopefully a useful bag for your daughters needs. The video is 2 hours long, you know I like to be thorough, but you don't have to watch it all at once. Its very do-able xx

I was just thinking that I could adapt this to fit on the front of my mobility scooter. I love it when patterns are inclusive x

You can slice the pattern pieces across the middle and add an inch or two in if you want it to be taller

Diane I think you have put a spell on me, as I always want to buy your patterns!!I don’t even like backpacks and never use them lol 😂 I just love this bag as a tote though and was wondering would it be possible to put a shoulder strap on it and omit the the back straps? X

Yes absolutely. I'd personally probably rivet the strap carriers on after completing the bag. That would look great ❤

Can this be made without the backpack straps making it a tote with just the top handles?

Yes it makes a super tote - no need to add the backpack straps at all. You could even increase the length of the grab handles if you wanted to use them over your shoulder

Would it work to enlarge it for a carry on travel bag?

Yes absolutely. I would just use a wider webbing for the straps.

For me, 15 inch is more practical.
