    I love that she is keeping her heart in her business and not forsaking her desire to treat others the way she would like to be treated. I'm very inspired and feel passionate about this as well.

    Great info and thanks for doing this. One question though....if you have a booth and you’re doing Facebook lives, instagram’s shop my square and an Etsy shop and website do you have to have separate groupings of products for each site? Sounds silly when I ask but if you have the item in your booth and also listed on Etsy, etc. what happens when the item sales from one site and if it’s available on multiple other sites? I can just see that being a problem because my luck that one item would sell from both at the same time 🤪

  • @LostFoundDecor

    @LostFoundDecor

    Not a silly question at all! Yes, you do have to set items aside for certain sales channels. Usually I go buy new items, put them in my live sale first, if they don’t try an IG sale, then take to my booth. But it is a kind of constant shuffling. And it’s ok to not do it all… these are just ideas of different sales avenues you can try :)

    @@LostFoundDecor the contract literally says to clear the area when a customer is shopping and not be a pushy salesperson. Prices are not negotiable and you may not give deals. I actually love the rule because I don't do well with customers and a lady literally cornered me in my booth and wanted a discounted price for a piece of my furniture. I had no idea what to say to decline her offer. It was so awkward for me. Ugh. 😆

  • @LostFoundDecor

    @LostFoundDecor

    I can understand where she is coming from. And I can also understand not wanting to get pressured into a discount, that stinks for sure. I do think though that there could be a missed opportunity . . . Over the years I have met customers unexpectedly in my booth space and they are so happy to get to talk in person (sometimes even asking to take pictures with me, lol). And they always buy! It really does go a long way in building a relationship with your customers. Ultimately, you don't want them to be loyal to your mall, but really loyal to you, if that makes sense. That can be tough if you're not allowed to talk to them. I hope you can find some other ways to build that connection and perhaps that your mall owner may open up to some other ideas :) Thanks for sharing!
