It was genuinely refreshing not seeing someone be all over Batman for once, Batman being jealous is great.

I’ve actually had friendships like blue beetles. Where I could just let loose and be a silly with one of my bros, then on the other side had a more serious friend who’d I’d always love talking shop with in terms of our jobs. Though if those 2 ever met, they would not get along. It’d be the equivalent of if Ron Swanson met Deadpool.

Which is the point of the episode. Both Bats and Booster know they can't cheat fate, but they still want to have a chance to properly say goodbye.

We kinda got that in this episode I think… it’s when Booster talks to Batman how he knew he messed up about bringing him back but missed his best friend and just wanted to be able to have him back

No but, the episodes don’t expect you to know every little detail about their backstories, so you can still enjoy the show without being a fan. Being a fan only adds to the experience.

Batman’s not the fun type. He cares more about justice, and Superman is the only boyscout who is almost as pathological about Justice as Bats.
