What they are calling “bricks” is actually loam. What they are calling “loam” is actually iron. It was helpful to see real game play! The directions left me with questions.

Honestly the best trait we have is not being smart enough to have AP haha When in doubt just keep the game moving and regret past moves later
This game was on my radar for months and I never pulled the trigger. I think your video has finally convinced me though.

Nice playthrough! FYI - you don't need to have inhabitants to do the special projects (the white part of the tile at the bottom). You get two inhabitants instantly for having the money/resources. Then you place one on the tile and the other on your player board. That might have made the difference in who won! :)

Dudes, Boonlake is sooo good. Looking forward to see where this gem gets put on your new top 100 list! Feels different enough from GWT 2e that both games are high up on my rankings. Something about these Pfister games just look so darn good on the table. I want to see you guys play some flamme rogue!

Oooh Flamme Rouge is a great choice I've only ever played that once but really enjoyed it! And agree this and GWT are quite different so definitely room enough for both in our collection
Not having played or seen this one in person before made this playthrough rather hard to follow. Although it does look like a fun game with lots of interesting decisions and different ways to score. Would be keen to try it some day.
