seaworldman879 Like I said, it's just my opinion. I was getting tired of seeing the same tinker toys trotting around for about 15 years. And even before it became its own channel, it used the same theme when it was part of CN. That's kind of boring. The only thing I don't like about the new Boomerang is the programming. They show Gumball, Teen Titans Go! and Garfield Show... Those shows aren't even from 2000-2010.

Ik Boomerang seems too modern nowadays 😔 misses the point of its own slogan.

I appreciate how all the bumpers on boomerang embraced a more modern aesthetic for their time. They could’ve easily fallen back on old school style music and stuff to fit in with the shows they were airing, but instead they diverted to techno, punk, underground rap, and drum n Bass to appeal to a younger audience. It made watching old cartoons feel cool. I don’t know who was running Cartoon Network at the time but whoever they were, they knew exactly what they were doing making that channel as successful as it was.

It's kind of ironic that I'm getting nostalgic for being a kid and watching cartoons that were already decades old at the time.

I'm proud to say that this was a favorite part of my childhood.

BOOMERANG IS LITERALLY PART OF MY CHILD. SO IT'S SO NICE TO HEAR THE OLD BOOMERANG THEME SONG. BRINGS BACK THE OLD BOOMERANG SOUND.

"It's all coming back to you!" R.I.P. Boomerang 2000-2015. That rebranding is more like a screw up than an awesome boi.

Whoa, I've only ever heard the few second snippet version of this song in the commercials. Never knew the longer version was so cool.

When I was younger, I used to dispose this song because I never liked the shows when I was a kid. How wrong I was

1:24 was the one i always remembered.

Ugh, I miss this. I remember being 6 or 7. Summer nights I would binge boomerang channels...I miss this. So nostalgic. Boomerang was amazing...ugh...I can’t even explain the amount of nostalgia I am feeling. Makes me smile, but want to cry at the same time.

I liked the toy bumpers I really miss those.

Yeah, when I found out they were making a new one, I was all like: Yep, this channel got all the charm sucked out of it, like everything else CN has to do with. The bumpers were so cool too, and not the generic "Box Logo". It also goes against what the actual channel stood for in the first place, a channel that aired the older CN shows that actually made sense. I officially hate new boomerang as much as I hate the new president. (Trump not Obama)

I always remember living Boomerang on during the night because it was the only program that ran cartoons 24/7 and hearing this theme was my favorite part. It made me feel like I was traveling through the past to the future

‘00-‘02, Friday night around 8pm-9pm, living room’s dark with no light escape besides the flashes from the tv screen, with this playing. Soooo many memories 😢

I wish boomerang was back to normal 😭 because it was good memory when I was kid

The funny thing I find is about like a week or 2 before the relaunch, I was thinking about how the look has been around for so long when I was watching it for some reason, then like a week later I turned it on and saw the relaunch, so for all I know I may've saw it the day before the relaunch I don't know, now that I think about it more, I kinda wish they still had the old look.

I remember watching the network when every adult block would change. I also recall gumball being on the network at the time I also remembered it rebranding. It first showed a smurfs promo then a yogi bear bumper and a short. Then the boomerang rebrand officially happened. There was one time where they played the old bumper by mistake. And that last bumper was like the last charm of the old boomerang. 😢

The nostalgia hit me harder than a freight train.
