I feel like I’m the only one who loved the uniform. It’s so cute. Very much “doll”. The sleeves were my fav part lol. I think it went along with the theatrics of their feature and stand routine.

Them uniforms gave me old school Hollywood meets the Harlem Renaissance. It was refreshing to me just pull up sleeves a bit to make sure we still see those gloves

That uni was beautiful -- gave me Prince and theatrical vibez...the midnight color was so pretty..the dolls did really well. I have no complaints.The music has been good this year..and Arielle and team are delivering..but if it's not your preferred style...it won't be. I think alot folks didn't think Kenjie could eat the way she did because of what they normally get from her..The fact that she ate -- was so unexpected..IS what surprised many..because there were no new stands or new unis.....she didn't wow them but she showed out. AND she wasn't Amber.. but that is enough in some folks eyes to give the settes the win..but give Amber some credit..cuz their field shows have been on point..and it hasn't been for quite some time... The dolls been ranking or placing top 4 for the last pass weeks...topping some of the faves....but that won't be enough because folks can't get their slow start out of their minds lol...another example. the GGs..they have been eating down since the beginning of the season...they have continuously showed out and is pretty much on top..but folks won't give them their flowers..cuz they are missing the wow or It factor..they don't show up with new pretty bundles or new cute unis ..so there is no anticipation....but what they do is show up and show out and attack as a unit and a force! Imo this season has had some strong captains and most of the teams are giving us great content.

The J-Settes were performing at ground level, but it's actually an advantage each time. They had plenty of room to show out and they did! And I loved their confidence, you could see it.

Kenji worked it through and through, gave heavy entertainment value to the entire game. Respect all art forms this isn't a competition for 1 million dollars like AGT, its college dancers. Enjoy the show ~

I have to disagree with Morgan as far as what Arielle is giving! She is giving you everything on every count! Facials, dramatics, but most of all DOLL! Arielle will go down as a legendary Doll captain, and her crabs will be so grateful for her leadership. Arielle has been giving her all every performance, and can we just talk about this season on the field? Whew Chile!

This was a great game and both the Settes and Dolls delivered! This is always a difficult comparison because the styles are so polar opposite. Both teams ate and left no crumbs.

Airi's intensity is in her face & sharp movements especially in 2019. She's done a great job this year but sometimes the energy is high then it dies out. I believe if she did alot more altogethers it would be better but I have a feeling it's stress bts. Even her strut has changed

I need for everyone to take note of the growth and development of Amber and Airielle crabs. Being captain is not just about being in front and shining. It’s exactly the opposite. It’s about your babies, who you are leaving behind as your legacy. Who will carry the torch after you. These captains used what they had and built what they didn’t and they are coming for the two and three spot in the swac cuz ggs will keep number one with a flawless season with a huge squad

I love the dolls but jsetts for the win I think Arielle is a good captain I think she plays it safe too much just go for it let the girls do it over all she’s a good captain step outside the comfort zone

I think both teams did well in their style. It’s been a while since a doll captain has had this many crabs and be able to whip them into shape like Airielle did. But miss bang on jsettes had me paying attention to them for the first time all season! Both performed well

I absolutely loved the Doll’s uniform 😭 I thought it was the cutest thing. But yea I need them to go deeper in the count book or make more hard hitting ones for these hype songs. I was missing some of Danny’s energy, because honestly the songs were great, and I could imagine her killing those songs. J-settes blew me away!! They looked GOODT and those counts were everything!

The facts that the Settes ate down with all that stuff going on. At one point somebody got carried away in a stretcher, there was 2 separate situations with security forcibly removing ppl. All the football players walked through there formation at some point smh

If you are saying “same thing” with dolls, you aren’t watching the right videos. The lyrical bits, the extra sit down dancing with arms during field show, Alllll of the new counts, new field shows each game. People crab to see new uniforms and you are complaining about sleeves. If another team had this uni you would be gagging. Ari pulled this team of 90% crabs together the best way she knew how, so excuse me about “all togethers” but she showed the team as best she could. Deserves kudos. As for Cam, some people are upset about her ONCE AGAIN being left out of tradition just because the manager is mad she came with a known face. She’s been shoved in corners for four years, never top middle, never ace, barely got to use her tail position. The dolls showed musicality and grace, innovative moves with sexuality without jiggly inner thighs flashing. Ari and Cam turned a mess of newbies into a cohesive team. Respect.

Let me turn this bell on because of I miss another premier imma scream. I love the blue uniform but I skipped through that 5th quarter on some of their songs. Mark my words, I said this on the countdown video yesterday, Naomi is going to be great if she comes back. I saw her potential from the beginning

These Dolls are back! I ain't taking nothing from the Jettes but the the artistry from the Dolls did it for me. They wasn't just doing stands they were preforming.

So nope I’m not staying in my lane…. I really feel like it’s some bull junk when it comes to her leading. We accepted that tail position. But it’s Senior night and she doesn’t get any kind of Recognition. For a team she fought so hard to be apart. The current captain has already led more than enough it’s ok if someone has a moment in the spotlight…

One thing about Kenji BEEN a dancer no cap never doubted her I just knew she was going to have her moment and she didddd it’s the cut for me she held that shit downnnnn you hear me you betta work em out ! She know chileee teaaaa, and your absolutely right Cam should’ve definitely lead I just love the grace and effortless slayege it probably would’ve changed the vibe for sure top tierrrr every time you said “ Maybe it’s the music “ lmfao mannn I started to listen idk what it is .Arielle knows her team for sure she’s a phenomenal lead for certain..the fans do be ruining it though 😩 It was a great season for Arielle thought happy for her ✨👸🏽🤎

everytime someone thinks the dolls were overshadowed, “you can’t compare the two”. The history compared the two to let’s lose the narrative. Secondly when the styles are different it’s about the way they perform in their style and the Jsettes did better this round. Just like dolls do better other times it’s ok.

I 100% agree. I have a problem with both the “You can’t compare them.” and the “They’re two different styles.” statements because where was this energy during the 2014-2017 seasons when KP and Dani were raising hell in the SWAC and murdering squads left and right? Back then, you didn’t hear anything about their styles being different because everything was working in the dolls’ favor, at least on the outside. To me, that’s hypocritical. If you’re going to say “you can’t compare them”, then stick to it and don’t back track once they get a formidable captain and squad 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm a Doll fan and I never look at them battling each other, because the Settes are the only team I check for and baby. They both ate TO ME. But, this is one of my favorite Settes performances ever. This is just a normal Doll performance for me, which I also love.

We wanna see Cam lead, please and thank you…

Cam is such a classy, young lady HOWEVER, she was a Jackson Dancing Doll so I’m used to seeing her move around. But the looks on her face when she was dancing against GG’s and Stingettes, would seem like she wished she was on the other side for that day. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Southern has a deep playlist this season with some dynamic selections so is definitely not the music. It's the same formations & not dancing altogether. If you notice, the Dolls most iconic moments in stands is when they all dance together. Micah did the same thing in 2019, the only difference now is there's a more diverse count selection.

While I do believe cams fans are crazy I don’t think they make that much of a influence on the decision made. The band admin is just messy asf and they don’t like anyone that outshines the team in my opinion. Look what they did to KP and her crabs.

@@danilacy3588KP was the mother to crab class ‘15 (Mel, Tailyn, Alyx, Jordan) Mel and Tailyn did not return for their final rip. Jordan was deemed captain for the upcoming season but was removed because shady business w/ the Band Director who chose her. Gabby was appointed captain instead and Jordan did not dance that year. Kinda why Mel and Tailyn left too. Jordan returned the next year and danced under Micah to finish her rips. She was the only KP baby to finish 4 rips & it was hella BS w/ admin&”politics“

This is why I both love and hate small crab classes. Both 18 and 19 had two crabs. While two crabs are easier to teach and give the overall team a cohesive and mature look, it comes back to bite, ESPECIALLY when the administration is notorious for cutting vets. When you have only 2 seniors, no juniors, and the majority of the team consists of crabs, the overall team will not have that “grown woman” look and feel.

As a Doll fan, I agree with your assessment. They came with creativity, but not wow factor. Also, I was disappointed that Cam didn’t get to lead. That would’ve been tea. Nevertheless, J-Settes ate and left no crumbs. Kenji and that first row 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I was left on edge throughout their performance.

The one thing I can't get past on the dolls stand routine is the timing issues. This routine would have been immaculate if the synchronization and details were together.

Think both teams came out to do what they love to do and that's entertain and represent .why do we have to compare who did what or who didnt congrats to all the beautiful women on both teams for living and loving life
