Boom Overture---is this Concorde's successor?
Supersonic travel by air is a dream long distance travellers were denied when British Airways Concordes were retired. Start up American company Boom have promised their supersonic aircraft Overture will debut soon. Their test bed XB-1 is ticking all the boxes.

Growing up close to Heathrow I saw Concordes on a regular basis, and even had the fortune of sitting in 3 cockpits. Each time I saw her was like the first time. She was and still is beautiful. Elegant and a beast of power. I wish Boom all the best with this poject and hope to see supersonic passenger flights again. However, nothing will come close to the original.
