I just made my first deck of Boom Cards without all of the special features. Since watching your videos, I can now include a variety of activities. My favorite is the drag and drop activity: that looks so cool. Thanks for sharing. You make things look so easy.

Those are great ideas! I'll add them to the list.

You can delete things from slides that are on the template. Just click the lock icon in the top left corner then hit delete. A warning will come up but just say yes delete. I do it all the time. That way I can put things on the template that are fiddly but I want on multiple slides even if I don't want them on all. :)

Thanks so much for this! I am trying to add a digital component to all my TPT products. I'm not sure if it's better to do Boom Cards since they can be linked to from any site, or to do Google Slides, since Google is so well known.... any insight into what you think sells better? And thanks for your videos they are sooo helpful!

It completely depends on your niche! Some teachers feel more comfortable with Slides and some loooove Boom. The best thing to do is to experiment and see what does better!

Is there a way to disable the drop zone from highlighting itself when the student drags an image over it?

Did you make it in ppt, then made it into Google Slides, and made it into Boom card? Or made it in Google Slides, then into boom cards?

Powerpoint and then upload the pictures to Slides and Boom. You don't have to do both, but I find I have a lot of teachers who aren't comfortable with Boom, so I get sales on both.

I would love to buy a kindle version of your book....but it isn't an option 🤔 Thank you so much 💓 for all your videos. I am just getting started on the seller side of tpt...

Hi, I created my first Boom Decks, I am trying to list on TPT, I know how to get the link, embed it on a power point and create attractive thumbnails and preview, I can't take them from power point on my mac and create links that work for TPT, this seems like such a mystery! I don't use Canva and would like to simply use my power point and screen shots. Do you have a video on how to do this?

I don’t have a video, but I do them in PowerPoint. I just screenshot, then add those to the PowerPoint, and add the link that Boom gives you.

Oh by the way, what program or App did you use to record your screen?

I use QuickTime, which comes free on a Mac. You can also use Screencastify, which is a chrome add on. 5 minute videos and less are free!

You do need to! I still make most of my stuff in PowerPoint and save as images to upload. You never want people to be able to copy and paste the clip art.

I watched the video in the hopes that you'd specifically explain how to list on TPT. :( This is just a general Boom card tutorial. You probably should remove the TPT from the video title, because this tutorial really doesn't have anything to do with TPT. It's a great, comprehensive video, but the title is misleading.
