This was really fun to watch! Just going into it with the editing and everything, I never would've known this was your first video. After mostly Instagram story clips it was admittedly a bit odd to hear you talk for fifteen minutes but I'm not complaining about the length - you seem like a very cool person and I look forward to watching more!

i speak french spanish and english and i definitely read in english the most!! to be honest it's mostly because publishing in other languages is nearly only translation and once you know the original language, reading translation is a serious downside 🤣 like watching an english movie dubbed in another language when you can read their lips and know that's really not what they're saying lol - awful 😭

@@Sofiaandherbooks this is super interesting although UK and US markets for translated fiction are some of the smallest in the world which I find really weird and frustrating lol! I speak French and Italian so love reading original fiction in those languages and am learning Spanish at the moment, but can read a lot better than I can speak eek! What are your favourite French and Spanish books? I'm always looking for recommendations especially modern ones :)

@@felicityhemming9987 ooohhh i have to admit i've almost completely stopped reading books in french - the books i am interested in are almost always published in english. i've also only rarely read books in spanish because it's the language i speak the least well, but i've recently bought a few classics like a hundred years of solitude and a short story collection by isabel allende i can't wait to read!! sorry, not great for recs in that department 😂
