BAHAHAHA the first one is SO true- i’m reading this series rn that is so addicting. i LOVE reading when it’s a weekend or a break so when i wake up i sit down, get comfy and start read. after a while i’m like “okay i don’t wanna finish this book that fast so i’ll just finish this chapter.” BOOM it’s almost 12pm and i’m pretty far into the book and i feel SO guilty HAHA

What’s a sad book quote? I’ll start I can see the stars m’lady. -Zoë nightshade, Pjo the titans curse Theodore finch was once alive, now he’s dead. But people like him never really die, they live on in the legends.-All the right places “I’ll get you home, Chuck.”-Thomas, maze runner “Kill me. Now. Please. I want to be with her again.”-Shay, a book I’m writing called light in the dark. Say hi to Julius for me.-James, light in the dark. “Dead people get more flowers than the living, because regret is stronger than gratitude.”-Anne Frank, diary of a young girl.

Colleen Hoover books are really popular that’s why people read them (me 😭). I feel really called out, I have a CoHo book in my lap rn but it’s because I bought it when I first started getting more into reading which was because I read It Ends With Us 💀. I have now read 5 books by Colleen and I think 2 of them are actually pretty good (it ends with us and Verity). It’s true that her writing style is really easy to read that’s why the books are so binge-able. I would be careful not to get stuck only reading her books though but for me personally it was a good gateway book into reading. Btw I thought The Love Hypothesis was absolute garbage (it’s also a star wars fanfic if you didn’t know) Books by CoHo that I’ve read and my thoughts ⬇️ Ugly Love- was horrible Layla- is a crime It Ends With Us- good (nr1) It Starts With Us- cheaply written and executed plot and a total cash grab (nr2) Verity- weird and crazy but arguably good

Does anyone have tips for staying focused on a book? I have dyslexia and adhd so it takes me a long time to read I’m hoping to change that this year

I would make a super comfy reading spot in your home and make a hot drink (or cold, I prefer hot for reading it's more cozy) play some quiet music and start reading! Also I love to go to barns and noble, bring some books with me and a little bit of cash in case I find a really good book, order a Starbucks drink and croissant (they have a Starbucks in my Barnes and noble) sit down at the cafe and just read with quiet music plugged in next to a window when it's rainy out 😁
