it’s soooooo time consuming but it’s really therapeutic!! i’ve never been a journal person until this year. not sure if i’ll carry on next year as i always end up so behind🥲

Oh no I have POTS and I know how overwhelming it can be. Sending you all the 5 star read vibes while you're going through it with your health struggles 🧡 Also I've always wondered what that noise was in the background and went with road noise vs some weird noises only I was hearing 🤣🤣

it can be awful cant it!! i’m at the point where i’ve just gotten used to it. i’ve literally just finished a five star read about 10 mins ago so your vibes worked!!🤣🥰 the car sounds are so aggravating hahaha

I'm glad you enjoyed agggtm, It's one of my favourite series!! But I didn't know there were 2 versions of a good girls guide to murder, so I read the US version which is set in Connecticut, and Pip is doing the research for her senior project not the EPQ. Now I'm hoping to reread the og english version and get all the British settings!

Hey Ellen, great video as usual! I went and picked up The Dead Romantics as per your rec. I am almost finished Ninth House and really looking forward to a lighter read!! I will start it later today. I saw you pick up My Roommate is a Vampire at the store. I am listening to it on Audible and it is pretty good, some funny moments for sure. 🐸 ☔🍁

@@bookswithellen Ninth House was my first dark academia read and I did find it very creepy. I am not a huge fan of the occult and dark magic so I did feel very anxious reading it and kudos to the author for keeping that vibe going from being to end. Not sure I will read the next one though. It was a little too intense for me.

You said it is similar to pots and i looked it up because I didn't know what it was. I am so sorry. It may not be life threatening but it sounds scary. (based on what I looked up). You also have anxiety and that alone is scary. (At least to me because my anxiety trips me up sometimes). Enjoyed the video. I didn't know there was another version of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.

it’s definitely super scary but i feel like ive gotten used to it now!! i do get flare ups and days when its a lot worse, but i kind of take it as it comes now😊 the anxiety can definitely make it worse!!

I would invest in some sort of curtain or blind that you can use to protect your books from sun damage. Must protec the collec 🥹

i have blinds and the window is actually to the side of the shelves, so they don’t get any direct sunlight :)
