Almost done with Our Share of Night and def think it’d be an amazing A24 film. So disturbing and unsettling, A24 can capture those vibes perfectly

I feel like the all the reviews I see for This Is How You Lose the Time War, are either "1 star, i had no idea what was happening", or "5 stars, i had no idea what was happening"

Also I think the most "A24" book I've ever read was Our Wives Under the Sea. It completely had that sort of slow, ominous horror that A24 movies sometimes have.

from what ive read from this list it feels more accurate to me than some other 'a24 books' lists ive seen! this makes me want to pull the trigger on some i have been eyeing like imaginary friend and middle game. :) i dunno if i see a24 in tomorrowx3 as much but it was a great read nonetheless. i adored it but i was surprised it got the hype it did, because tbh, usually books like that aren't for everyone due to their slower pace and anti-climactic endings. i love boring, long-spanning books, so i loved it and am happy to see it get so much hype

yes! Totally agree with Piranesi and Memorial. There’s a book by Shola Vonn Reinhold called Lote, which I read at the beginning of the year which I could see being an interesting adaptation. It’s very character-focused and kinda odd, slower paced and intellectual. I’m not doing a good job of describing it, but I keep thinking about it

Ohhhhhhh... I've got a series for you that I think fits this bill and is AWESOME! Would you PLEASE read and review the An Unbelievable Truth series by Joshua Ryan Erwin? I've never heard anyone review these books, and they're fantastic! There are currently 3 books out. Book I- An Unbelievable Truth *Author's Edition by Joshua Ryan Erwin Book II- A New Beginning *Author's Edition by Joshua Ryan Erwin Book III- Elijah the Great by Joshua Ryan Erwin It's dark, gritty, has some graphic violence, but it also has tremendous heart, great relatable characters, twists and turns, it's surprisingly layered, and just an awesome read. Happy reading!
