I managed to record my full session on this game, still on the FOBTs in William Hill, its Eye of Horus. I've played this one quite a bit before and definitely see the appeal of this game. I like the way the free spins bonus builds up - simultaneously awarding additional spins whilst improving the available wins.
This video follows on from recent ones on the channel where I'd managed to build up a very decent bank having at one point been £460 down. I'm still playing off this amount, so started this video well ahead and decided to push my luck hoping for a feature or two.
There are a few high and lowlights in this video, the first one I realised after watching it back. It takes just over 6 minutes to drop the bank by £200. That's some seriously expensive "entertainment," averaging more than a pound every 2 seconds.
They might have dropped the stakes on the FOBTs, but if you ever play them, be under no illusion about the amount of money they can still swallow.
Of course the flip side to this is hitting a decent run of wins / bonuses etc on them. Without wanting to spoil the video, there's more decent action towards the end than the start.

Lucky (ish) escape there. We all know how brutal these can be. Even the £100 jackpot in the boozer can rinse you out sometimes 👍🏻

End of the day bookies are there to make money they’re going to screw you over regardless might get a win now and then but the wins don’t weigh up the losses
one of those games .seen myself rattle in 200 quid on 50p stakes and get sweet f*** all.lucky to get most of that back mate.disgraceful tenner win for £2 stake.ive had the 12 spins before n got nothing but the quid it gave me for getting them.highly volatile game .🙁

Yeah its really irritating when you finally get a bonus and it pays next to nothing! Had plenty of those myself too, and on the Fishing Frenzy one. Think I'll try a different game next time I'm in!
These machines are designed to produce far more losses, I believe.

I thought you were heading for a quid £700 bust there. Seems you've lost the sense or the value of money, which is a dangerous place to be for a gambler.
I gotta admit I play eye of Horus a lot I have won a lot on it but it can have your pants down so quick no wins shit wins it’s all or nothing when playing this I always play William hills but I find most games in there boring now I like Ladbrokes at moment few games in they doing well for me :-) I think I am going to stay clear of eye of Horus for a while it’s so hit and miss same as fishing

I do find making these videos and watching them back you get a better appreciation for how quick the money can come and go. Easy to get stuck in the moment when you're playing them. Bit of a nemesis of mine lately this game, hopefully will jackpot it one day and never touch it again!

Yeah its a bit like that isn't it. Always gives the impression of potential yet rarely realises it. Its running out of chances before I put it on my banned list...

This game can be so bad .piled loads in it the other day..got a feature which retriggered after first couple of spins got about 27 spins in total thought was going to win all my money back and more..paid £4.50! (50p play)..absolute joke

Wow thats dreadful. The retriggers seem to be pretty rare as well, so you'd think with that many spins you'd get the full upgrades and a decent chance of a really big win.

@@JackpotJimmy done same previously to me too but not quite as bad I think it was about 9 quid my lowest before that on a retrigger..also another thing don't get excited if you get feature with 4 of the pyramids starting it..9 out of 10 times pays hardly anything except feature entry bonus..it thinks its already done you a favour with this is my theory..still love the game though
