Always enjoyed Booker T, even back when WWE was giving him the "Oh it's a WCW guy, better make him a heel 90% of the time" treatment. Guy had charisma - guy could bust out moves - guy was smooth in the ring - guy was hella entertaining. Grossly underappreciated talent and it put a big smile on my face to see him get a nice pop. Seems it also put a smile on his face, too.

Except the company was doing fine prior to even Sting showing up. Actually I'd argue that bringing in guys like Sting, Nash, Angle and the like hurt TNA more than helped it. Yeah, they had other former WWF performers, but they were always midcarders who never got a proper shake in WWE. Angle beating Joe made no sense, Hogan showing up at all made no sense(if you look back with him doing literally no promotion work while he was with the company, anytime he was out making the media rounds it was all about himself, never about TNA)
