I thought, at first, how this video will be too quiet. But I found myself concentrating more without disruptions from music or talking. I'm excited to try and make this journal for my wife, thank you!
Love this journal. And your videos are drop dead gorgeous! No crazy music or talking or anything that distracts from the beautiful creating you are doing.

In all the arts and crafts I have ever done, a workshop I took to bind a journal was my absolute favorite. I have never forgotten the blissful trance it all became for me. Thank you for bringing me back to a beautiful memory!
I would also love to see a tutorial on this. I don't think I've seen that version of the outside stitch (ladder) and that M pattern showing on the cover. thank you

Hello, did you find any tutorial for this sewing "the ladder back coptic stitch" ? I'm interested and I can't find
The paper in the drawer.. where do you buy it? It looks so flexible and the printing is beautiful.

I would love to see a tutorial on how you combine that Japanese stab binding on the cover with the Coptic stitch text block😁
It's lovely! A pity you don't show the process of this beautiful sewing! Will you make a video showing this in detail, please? Thank you!
Such a beautiful channel 🥰
Hello I only found your site yesterday and am so happy that I have. I love your clean, efficient, and no fuss creating. Do you have a list somewhere of the equipment that you are using - for instance what is the board that you used for the covers, what sort of glue are you using to stick on that absolutely lovely cover paper etc. Thank you
Beautiful.
Now that was a very cool video to watch. Excellent work.
So perfect
Very beautiful handmade you are so good 👍
I have been wanting to add a nicer cover to my sketchbooks. I almost feel like I can do it after watching your video. I really didn't want to fool with a spine at the moment. I will re-watch the video. Thanks for sharing.
I follow you now on Etsy and instagram too. Thanks for your videos and journal making
I’m watching from Japan. It’s lovely.
👏👏👏👏😍Belíssima obra e apresentação!!
Hermosísima!!! 😍🤩🤗🤗🤗🇨🇴
I get so mesmerized watching your videos. I’m having a hard time finding good colored thread. What type of thread are you using?
Perfeito!
I wanna make this !!
I'm so envious of the supplies you have. We don't have any of the beautiful papers that you have access of. And ordering online is not so much of an option because of the shipping and tax. So Thank you for showing and sharing with us your process and experience.
Hi, great journal! What kind of paper did you use? Both for the cover and for the inside sheets.
Where do we find short-grain paper like the ones you used here? Thank you so much 😍
stunningly beautiful, again 😍 I am curious why you never put the papers in the press? also, I LOVE the tiny book mobile! what a great way to practice small 👍
Can someone tell me how to do this coptic stitch I don’t get how to do the middle part and the M-shape on the cover? Absolutely beautiful journal.
Magnifique de finesse et vidéo très bien réalisée afin de comprendre le processus de création, merci beaucoup!
Hey I just found your channel today. The video is beautiful! I would love to make a journal. What are the dimensions of the board and paper you used? Is there another one of your videos that I should watch that maybe goes into more detail on the process? Thank you
Beautiful, I can never get my printer to print on both sides perfectly. it always shifts something a couple of mm and you can see through from the other side the misaligment.
Where you get the paper for the deco they are so stunning 😍
Beautiful! What type of paper is used to cover the book covers, and the weight of it if you know? It seems to take the wet glue very well.

bitter melon bindery great, thanks! Does the paper fair well with markers or is there very noticeable ghosting? Sorry for all of the questions😅 I want to try to make my next bullet journal, since I’ve fallen in love with bookbinding and am trying to figure out how to get the best quality match to the ones I’ve purchased.

That's a fun endeavour! I have only used tombow markers on the paper and there is no ghosting or bleeding. Not sure about other brands. Mohawk superfine paper is the brand I use currently and it holds fountain pens quite well too.

There are multiple vendors selling online, look up “chiyogami paper”. I get them from Etsy and any vendors that show up on Google in my region.
Ma Shaa Allah
I could not see how the cover was sewn onto the signature. Beautiful work. Just will have to find a video close up dealing with cover attachment.
Diseñado hermosa y creativamente, además de pulcro. Se nota que amas lo que haces. Me encantó mucho💖💖💖
Is there a reason to run the paper through a copying machine first, and then use it for book binding? Or it is just a way to show what kind of paper used in this video?
