I can’t think of a better way to honor the history and love of an old Bible than to turn it into art. I have a family Bible that belonged to my great grandmother. It lies in a box. How awesome it would be to turn it into artwork that would encourage stories about her and our family history.

Hey Eagle! Cutting the pages does bring more depth but it takes a long time. If I was to do it all again I would just fold alternative pages like I did with the 'o', 'v' & 'e'. Thanks for the comment. Have a great day!

I'm about to start one of these projects because I saw one video of some one showing the results and I really like it, so I didn't know I was going to be able to find tutorials so in my mind the part where you cut the page I thought solving the problem folding one page to to the top part of the letter and the following page to to form the lower part etc...

How do you make sure that the design doesn't look too stretched when it's done? Is there a way to visualize the dimensions of the end results. Example: Let's say I want to design a heart. How do I make sure that the heart isn't too wide so that the shape gets too distorted? Thank you so much for this great video!

I your tutorial was great but I'm not computer literate to make a pattern. Can you tell me a good place to find free patterns I Google it and it always brings me to Pinterest but then the patterns are not free. Thank you in advance

Hi Love Learnin, This was the first time that I had tried it. There are other on KZread that supply patterns with their videos. Just look for book folding on KZread. I hope that this helps!

Hi Tabitha, Thank you for your comment. The word Love is written in a font called 'A L Libretto'. I searched google for the best book folding fonts and it happened to be the first one. I hope that this helps. Be blessed!

how do you determine how much to stretch it to? like you stretched it to 640 lines, how do you determine that?

Hi Diego, all of the folding took me about 3 days but that includes all the filming too. If I was to do it all again I think I could have all of the folding done in a day.

Hi there, the bible that I was using was a family bible. There was also a section for births in the family too!

Don't cut the Bible it's a big sin he would pay for this from the god

Its very shameless u r using holybible for dis craft. So many people they dont have to buy bible.

Beautiful artwork but it breaks my heart that you have used (and cut up) the Word of God...It is meant to be read and lived in honour of Its Author, God. the Rev'd Dr. Margo MacDougall

That looks cool, But like out of all the types of books to use u decided to use a Bible? For crying out sake its a Holy Bible you are cutting up and making art you could have used another type of book.
