Hi! Would you say this book would be a good buy for a complete beginner? I have never designed anything on my own, but I wish to begin ( just as a hobby) and I was wondering if this would be a good book for someone who has little knowledge on fashion design and art in general.

I guess it would depend on what you're looking to get from it - for me I concentrate only on the drawing (fashion illustration) rather than on designing clothing (not sure if that's what you need or not). If you have no drawing experience whatsoever I would maybe begin with a basic anatomy book such as Jeff Mellem - How to Draw People. But as far as fashion illustration books go in general this is one of my personal favorites. I hope that helps - thanks so much for watching.

I purchase most of my books on Amazon (some new and some used) - which is where I purchased the book in this video.
