Haven't found a boogie woogie player on KZread as good as this in over 3 years now. He's just got the best timing and groove out of all of them. Keep coming back to this when I need another hit!

It's a clip from a performance by The Refreshments, a Swedish rock and roll band, which is why the crowd are on the backbeat. Great gig, runs for over an hour, with a guest performance by Albert Lee. Well worth a watch!

Beginning of 2023 and I'm watching this guy flying through this piano with his fingers. Awesome!

Jerry Lee did a version of Boogie Woogie used in early rock, but it was not B.W. It was much simpler than B.W. but just as catchy.

I played blues, boogie, and ragtime for relaxation when I was studying classical piano 65 years ago. This is the best I've ever heard. I wish I could do it.

I lover Johan Blohm's Boogie Woogie so much that I ordered the tape so that I could play his music in my car, in my home, and in the yard. The music energizes me.

This is one of the oldest videos on KZread, and 17 years later, it's still racking up views. It's just pure talent and no-nonsense content.

I just keep coming back. I haven't kept count but at least half of the over 14 million views must be me. The next time anyone reading this gets all banged up in a car accident, and the pain killers aren't strong enough, just put on your head phones and listen to Johan. I guarantee you that you will get so caught up in the music that you will forget all about the pain.

I don't care which way you turn this boy....upside down, right side up or if u just grab him and start shaking. The Boy Has IT, in every way possible. He's a true master of the Rockin" Blues' and it doesn't get any better no matter who tries it. My hat is off in respect, you nailed it!!!

Some of these pianos can cost as much as a house. I could never understand anyone paying so much until you hear THIS one and THIS guy. The piano has such body and depth and he is soooo good. I've got to hear this group. This man is exceptional.

Absolutely brilliant. Outstanding. When I hear this piece I always wonder, what Beethoven or Mozart would have said in 18th century if they could have heard it. Fascinating idea, Beethoven and Mozart listening to Boogie Woogie. Another dimension. Same level to me!

As a man at 66 years old, I have played the Boggie Woogie song the way my dad taught me since I was 7 years old and no matter how good I thought I was getting as the years past, this one by Johan Blohm brings me to tears. I played it once in the 7th grade for a grade and my classmates thought .....wow, how cool. I now fantasize about playing it to them the Johan Blohm way. Over and over and over.

This has to be the best boogie-woogie song that I have ever heard! *It just knocks your bloody head off!* Bravo Johan Blohm.

Boogie woogie is my favorite of all music genres - it's happy, jumping, just can't stop smiling when I hear it played!

This has always been one of my favorites. Thing of note: the piano is a Roland electric piano, which is highly regarded. That, and the quality of the recording may, may be part of what makes this such a great, full throated, recording. This is part of a Refreshments concert called "One night with the Refreshments" which is also on you tube, and the two songs which precede this one in that concert feature Albert Lee as a guest guitarist. They are also a couple of my favorites.

His Boogie Woogie hits all the right notes for me! Love it! xx
