@@stevie65able'm not sure what you were doing in the 60s but this style of dancing was definitely still popular. The boogie-woogie was learned by young teens in the late 40s and over-30s night-spots were still very popular in the 60s. Maybe you were still a bit young for it in the 60s?

Да ладно, в Союзе это всё было под запретом, даже джаз. Сегодня ты танцуешь джаз, а завтра родину предашь, это лозунг тех времён. Нам в школе, 60-е, запрещали носить длинные причёски, а ля битлз. Всё это считалось буржуйским и чуждым советскому человеку ))). Не знал? Теперь знаешь.

@@stevie65able'm not sure what you were doing in the 60s but this style of dancing was definitely still popular. The boogie-woogie was learned by young teens in the late 40s and over-30s night-spots were still very popular in the 60s. Maybe you were still a bit young for it in the 60s?

Да ладно, в Союзе это всё было под запретом, даже джаз. Сегодня ты танцуешь джаз, а завтра родину предашь, это лозунг тех времён. Нам в школе, 60-е, запрещали носить длинные причёски, а ля битлз. Всё это считалось буржуйским и чуждым советскому человеку ))). Не знал? Теперь знаешь.

I know!!!!!!!!!! I’m in awe!! Daniar absolutely positively I can’t even say the right word because they’re such good dancers! That is what my mom and dad would be doing!! I lOVED their pictures and their stories they told us! Oh by the way, we were OOPS (twins)babies lol
