In regard to the Ostapenko/Krejcikova doubles match, I think even if you commit to your shot and wait for it to go out etc, who cares, if the prior ball was out, it should be your point. You have three challenges, you should be able to use them whenever you see fit. Hell, I'd be cool with players challenging a ball 10 shots prior cos if the opponents ball was out, then it should be their point. They shouldn't be required to keep a rally going if the opponent isn't using the space inside the court

Why is it that we, as spectators, can see replays, even when we're thousands of miles away, and we can see exactly what happened, yet the officials who are right there cannot, or will not, use replay technology to see what happened??? @@sorongvanl yes, you did miss the point, because I said the officials CANNOT. My question is, when the technology clearly IS available, why has this situation arisen. It is laughable that spectators thousands of miles away can see replay after replay yet someone right there at the epicenter cannot, and, worse still, they are the people (the officials) who could MOST benefit from using it, as opposed to some random nobody's thousands of miles away.

What on earth is Sakkari talking about??? "You were against me since i was little"??? That's paranoid for goodness' sake ... And why is "no" a hindrance, but "oh" NOT a hindrance in her mind??? What's the difference? And of course, the classic line of spoiled players towards umpires : "don't talk to me anymore" ... when THEY are the ones that have started the dialogue. There's something wrong with her. She used to be nice and polite. Her personality has changed for the worse. There's something dark about her ... and it has been going on for too long by now to excuse it as being a passing thing

Sakkari was correct. And terrible umpires made her like that. It's the same how it was with Williams sisters. Umpires have so many times made bad calls against her that she can't stand it anymore. One instance is when she played against Sabalenka two years ago and Thomas Sweeney robbed a point from her in first set tiebreak causing her to lose the first set to Sabalenka.

@@einarsd4 Whether Sakkari was correct or not is not REALLY the point i'm making. Her behaviour HAS changed for the worse, her mood dark and suspicious, as even you admit. The difference is you justify it, because umpires have made bad calls against her. Which the worst possible attitude - for her AND for you as a fan. Guess what? ALL the players will have bad calls go against them at times in their career. It's GOING to happen. That doesn't give them the right to become horrible people and abusive towards the umpires when it happens. That CANNOT be acceptable. Sports don't work that way, life doesn't work that way. And imagine for a minute if EVERY player reacted badly when he or she was wronged. It would ruin the game - for everybody. I'm appalled by your argument. And don't even try to tell me that umpires (all of them? Some of them that collude to do so?) have it in for Sakkari or had it in for Serena and they are being unfair to them consciously and because they want and choose to do so. That is some conspiracy theory NONSENSE.
