@JoRu94 Ireland's Greatest is about what that person has done for their country and not what they done 1000's of miles away. Fair play to Bono for what he's done in other parts of the world but Michael Collins done amazing things for Ireland and fully deserves to be voted Ireland's greatest

@DJEMMEY25 I have read a bit about the program, the only requirements to be eligible to be nominated for the show was that you were of Irish origin and 15+ of age. Why would they even talk about Bono's work in the 3rd world (or even nominate him in the first place) if the show was just about people specifically helping Ireland?

@JoRu94 Bono was nominated because Dave Fanning absolutely loves him. They nominated anybody whos anybody. Even Stephen Gately nominated. What has he done for Ireland lol
