Very interesting and clever set-up my friend. Creativity is off the charts. It is alright to lose a few rigs but still hurts when you put all the effort in making the fly hooks

Yellow Maribou by the looks of it. You can find it at any place that sells fly tying supplies

I dont see a weight, are you top water fishing that rig?

The metal jig is the sort of weight. I do top mostly but you can do top to bottom basically.

I like your using a forceps as vise. I would not recommend more than one hook for fishing for bonito. Kamsa nida.

Thanks 😊 I use multiple hooks sometimes when I get no bite at all. I prefer one hook too :)

No I don’t, just make few for myself. There are many local tackle shops selling this hooks and easy to make it by yourself :)

You lost the sabiki hooks because your knot was not good. You need at least a double overhand knot aka surgeons knot to attach dropper hooks. A triple overhand would be better with 15 lbs test. Twice is ok for 30- 50lbs. Try again and you won't lose the sabiki hooks. Check out Salt Strong channel playlist for making sabiki rig or surgeons knot for attaching leaders.
