I like the addition of the random voices in the background. Really adds the the Bonelab Schizophrenic% run.

To be fair, making this specific level would probably be easy, the building in the back is in long run and also street puncher, in Home, the base area is still there, all that would be needed is to get rid of some houses, add some scaffolding, and the building, change the skybox and lighting and done

Even with the bad RNG for the Early Skip you still got some good time

hey I got this glitch where on rooftops on the mythos billboard I went on top held forward and it launched me strait to the gravity cups idk it might help also might just be quest exclusive

Ok I haven’t like verified if it’s faster, but if you let go of the big hand it just grabs you instead of letting you fall. And the first time that happened it certainly *felt* like it was rising faster. Anyways you probably know this but jimmy doesn’t spawn if you don’t at least activate the hand, not sure how you can speed that part up besides what I suggested.

Second time it happened I was in/using the giant Rusk modded avatar (just shy of 20 ft tall) and the fucker grabbed me by the foot. I was dangling upside down, though thankfully it didn’t reorient me like the go kart would’ve.

You can't use the scenes selection to exit out, since using quickplay kinda breaks that menu. You have to use the hub button to exit the level.

As a game developer I was really discouraged about making my own vr game after seeing all the hype about bonelab being the best vr game ever made. i went and looked up the creation of the game and saw that they supposedly used their own internal physics engine directly inside of Unity called Marrow engine. I just played it for the first time today and I can tell you definitively that they are lying through their teeth. This entire game was made using Hurricane Vr, Hexabody Vr and FinalIK, assets that are already packaged together for you to work together when you buy Hurricane Vr. The fact that this game is basically just a big asset flip of those assets with just a tinge of 3D modeling and storyline thrown ontop of it and yet it still made over 1 Million dollars within the first 30 minutes of it being released has reinvigorated me to start developing again. I know that by "Internal physics engine" they actually just tweaked the physics settings in the physics menu in project settings to be less glitchy and still that obviously didnt do anything because this game is the buggiest thing I have played in a long time. I guess there is just such a scarce amount of vr games that people who sunk 250-550 dollars into their quest headset or whatever headset just felt like they needed to act as if this game was some sort of evolution in vr gaming but absolutely everything about this game is just your run of the mill unity asset collider interaction and there isnt a single thing even remotely special about it. Glad they made so much money off of it from the smooth brains tho.

@@JoshDoes Using quickplay breaks the menu, so you can't use it to exit to the hub. You have to leave the level by pressing the hub button.

the whole point of a speedrun is to beat the game as fast as possible, this is an any% speedrun basically meaning that you can do nearly whatever you want, as long as you make it from start to finish

Alyx has no jank, a story, great ambient sound design, level design, comfort settings, grabbing and climbing that works, AI that can walk the stairs, and Jeff is amazing. The Bone series has physics. Add multiplayer and you have VR Chat with physics

alyx is a great game. bonelab is misleading, super broken, super janky, it's super short, and it literally uses AI generated art. alyx actually took more than a year to make

Ok I’m not really into speed runnin... at all.... so I sprinted to the lab part right about a half hour after release... I let my step son play then so he could screw around! The little bugger quit after 5 minutes not knowin what to do.... I put it on and he’s at the house with the arm reaching down... he didn’t know what to do... thought it was a boss fight or something... I grabbed it game over... he don’t remember what he did he just said he was at the body selection machine and he said he rang a bell and fought a bunch of people... I thought it was just the arena.... no the little dude figured something out... he can’t replicate it... but I’m just letting everyone know something quicker is out there!
