I'm only 88 and I can do 3-5m dmg when my spear splinters. you want at least a 810 2 hand sword [2300 atk base minimum] with these 4 stats: Bone skill Crit dmg Crit Dmg Vulnerable Dmg Core skill Dmg guaranteed 1 anything

Bone is great that's what I'm using, lvl 89 now. We are pretty squishy though. Very difficult to deal with certain nightmares or mobs. If they can incapacitate you and blood mist is on cd, you are dead. Sometimes, you just get charged and one shot from off screen.

Ya it’s tough, doing solo nms is tough especially because nobody can revive you, duos or higher are much easier to save them lives :)

Twisting Blades needs another nerf, this is just too much.

Facts. Necro bone spear is cracked. I’m always jelly of my buddy hitting crits for 1.5 mil at level 85 and I’m level 90 Barb critting for 500k 😂

It’s certainly a solid one. Wish we could have presets to easily change between different versions for the paragon board for example to test!

im hitting 75k with blood lance (with overpowered damage) at level 65 is that good will it scale as good as damage as bone spear when I get higher level our should I give up my full blood build, starting to have a little trouble at tier 3 going to 4 capstone

Honestly if you’re having fun then try your best to optimize it however for reference i completed the capstone for WT4 at level 58, while carrying my duo friend while using bone spear

I took out my Corpse Explosion and put decrepify to have that 15% chance 1 second cooldown thing plus the 9% more damage to cursed enemies since i dont really use corpse explosion.

Mine’s at level 1 just to consume a corpse for damage buff. The legendary paragon node that gives 40% damage increased for 6 seconds after consuming 5 corpses is pretty huge. Not seen in this short tho!

Aspect of exposed flesh is on my ring and for boss fights i was using the 20% increased regen aspect, cant remembe roff the top of my head. Both were on my rings. There is also a stat that reduces essence cost of abilities that is on some of my gear

My buddy switched from sorc to barb because of the difference of our damages, i think necro is definitely stronger than the rest in damage

Oh the blue clouds left behind? That's Deathless Visage, a unique that does aoe damage in the trail of bone spear

Im literally 82 with a max crit avg of like 150,000, is there just that much of a dmg gap between levels 82-89?

I would say make sure you’re following a good paragon board build, leveling the glyphs is quite important as at level 15 they increase in radius, lastly make sure you’re stacking the right stat priorities on gear. Good luck! :)

Sorry for late reply, that link essentially covers it. Generally speaking you want a mix of crit chance, crit strike dmg, crit strike dmg with bone skills, vuln damag, and even core skill dmg. I have just about 50% crit chance which seems a bit lower and nearly 400% crit strike dmg

I'm in the same boat currently, but it's because you don't have the right gear. Once you have the right aspects on your gear, and gear with the right stats, you will generate essence as you attack, and rarely have to use corpse explosion. Look for the helm called deathless visage, get boots and amulet with essence cost reduction, and rings with maximum essence/resource regen. look for Rob's bone spear build on D4builds, it'll show you what to look for stat wise. That's what I'm doing currently as I kind of power leveled my way into the season with my necro, and I didn't really get good gear as I leveled, so my character is harder to play than this.

at this point this build is probably much less effective after the nerfs as well as not accurate for s1 if you're planning on playing s1, however it is probably still on d4builds . Good luck!

Guy hit over 1.5 mill nearly every hit and bone spear triples its projectiles on its return. This build is just as op as the druid. Barbarian has the hammer of thr ancients build which is 100% getting nerfed, one of the lads i play with was 1 shotting everyone in thr pvp zones many levels higher than him and deleting dungeon bosses in 1/2 seconds

Tornado druid’s definitely quite strong! I’ve seen videos of some necros hitting 5-8m per hit. Although more rare than the average player, i dont think any class hits that hard atm!

Depends on your build, atm the top builds are bone spear and bone spirit but that could change. We had an update today that looks like it helped minions out. In the end play the style you enjoy most!

There is a big damage difference with getting the double bonuses on the rare nodes, as well as paragon levels making a huge difference. You'll eventually get there!. At lvl 58 I was able to solo the capstone dungeon for lvl 70 unlocking WT4.

At the end of the day play what you enjoy, but i'd say bone spear/ bone spirit build is on top right now, minions fall off at higher tiers of stuff in NM. I know people are really trying to optimize and make minions work though, however im enjoying this build

@@WeirdAmerica219 Basically you want to generate a corpse asap, use CT and CE at some point to gain the dmg buff as well as stun most of everything you can and then nuke em with bone spear, the more enemies clumped the better. Blood mist is your "oh shit" button, bone storm helps with damage reduction as well as crit damage

I hit for up to 4 million same lvl. I use a two hander and lots of crit damage though. He may do as much dps overall, I'm not sure. I only hit for 3.5-4mil sometimes when all my buffs are up with tendrils. Usually it's 400k-2.5mil ish

You need splintering aspect its very important for this build

So boring, all these 1million damage stuff isn't exciting. Well I guess I'm not the target audience for d4 anymore,.I can always go back to playing diablo 2
