So happy for Vision to finally have some friends! This just shows that some males are just not meant to be with other males and do best with females - especially when not proper socialized with adult males as babies and teens, they become incompatible with other males and are almost impossible to bond with them anymore. Sadly, some people still mistake this as a 'my pig doesn't like other pigs and prefers living alone', where in reality they just lack the proper socialization in order to live with a male or even a male herd.
I am SO happy that Vision ended up working out with the herd. I had a feeling he would be better off with them, especially like you said, it’s natural in the wild for them to be within herds of females. This literally makes me SO SO happy for Vision 😊😚 I can’t wait to see the next bonding!

Guys, every other comment on this video is a spoiler. Don’t read the comments before the watching 🤷🏼♀️
You know what makes me admire you even more. You did that bonding in jeans. Nothing can stop you
I’m so glad it went well. Vision’s going to love having all of his new friends. ❤️
Brilliant outcome, did the same with my two fiesty sisters (2yrs) and introduced a neutered male (9 months), did the bonding at my local rescue. Very similar experience and behaviour to what you've just encountered. Given the two sisters occasionally launch at each other with lots of teeth chattering, introducing the boy has helped calm them down so I now have a harmonious trio. Looking forward to the next video.
I have been anticipating this bond with you for wheeks (pun intended)! I am so, so, so happy for all of you. You all deserve this! Hopefully Caroline will stop her bullying and this will continue to be the best herd ever! 👏💗
Yay for Vision! I'm so happy that the bonding went so well! 🥳❤
You are such an amazing guinea pig owner!!! I have been watching you since the beginning and you are such an inspiration to so many people out there!!! Thank you for your tributes in the guinea pig community! Also I'm so glad the bonding went well!😁
Thank you for all the content you put out! Love all your piggies
I have a pair of girls and a pair of boys in their own cage but sometimes when they go outside they are in a cage not too far away and even in the house they communicate together and it’s so cool!!
They look so good together 😍😍😍
Wow! Congrats with success🥰 so happy for pigs
Soo glad Vision is bonded with the herd! He gets to live an amazing life for the rest of his years after a rough start.
I'm happy Vision bonded with the female herd! Good luck with Winston 🐾💕
Aston I’m so happy for you and your piggies that this was a success x
Yay!! So happy it worked out.
Hey not sure if you are gonna see this but I have guineapigs for 5 years and had recently came by your channel and I’m always open to learning about piggies and your channel is so informational but fun and entertaining which is so great for new piggy owners! Love ya!💗
Vision looks just like my guinea pig who passed a year ago at 2 from lethal white disease :( I definitely recommend researching that if you don't know already as he may have it too it is very common with red eyed guinea pigs!
Yall Im sorry but this is so funny to me. As I was watching this video, my brother that left my family came back after not seeing him for months. It was just really funny and I'm still kinda shocked.
I am so glad that vision and the girls are happy together
So happy the bonding worked 🥰
Aww love your vids all your pigs are adorable! I’m currently doing a bonding!
This channel is the one guinea pig channel that I enjoy the most! Also, Vision looks like my female guinea pig, Chinel!
I'm so happy for vision!
I know in dogs, it can take up to 8-weeks for all the sexual hormones to deplete. I don't know how many weeks it has been since neuter, nor how long that would take in pigs, but it was quite interesting to watch Vision show male behavior, yet his body wouldn't respond, and the females didn't respond. Very interesting. So glad this worked out as planned. Yay! Success!
Love the vids🐖
I am so happy for Vision!
YAY the ladies' man has his ladies!!!
I'm so pleased for Vision 😊
I love visions coloring. He's a gorgeous boy.
I'm so happy and glad It went well. They are so adorable ❤️🥰🤗
Yay finally!
You should make 'bonding mitts' using your pig mats :'D
YAY! this is so exciting! Can u do more reacting to people cages?
So cute piggies
I want to see the bonding zone with the bunk beds installed, for the comfort of the 6 piggies!
This is gonna help me bond my Guinea pigs
very happy for Vision and his new bunch! also, I spy Alyssa! 👀✨
i need a video like this for my bunnies, i don’t even have guinea pigs but it was helpful 🤣
Aww I love your videos
Vision will be in heaven!!!! He will be a tired boy for a wheek or two.. I never had problems with integrating a neutered male with one or more girl's, when I saw this video I knew it would work. From what you said, been by himself most his life will have some social issues for him to learn but he will be one happy dude and lots of rumble strutting to come n king of the herd....
HELLO UR UNDERRATED :) luv u!
I'm so happy it went well 🐹❤
Cute video!! Where’d you get the cage ??
14:44 Vision looks sooo smug now since he gots some ladies
It will also clear up room space and there will be less cages
He’s such a ladies man the same thing happened with my 6 month old girl and 2 year old boy they never fought
I am so shocked at the costs of neutering! I live in the UK and it can cost between £50-£100, or will be free if you adopt from a rescue centre!
Can Wanda & Vision bond with the Wasp & Ant-Man 😍
Can please do a video about the neutering process for the Guinea pigs, thank you.
wanda was the first one to go see who the new hottie is lol yay im happy it all worked out.. he's gonna feel like a king lol around the females now

You are my favorite youTuber
Did he really say 600$ for his neuter? Did i here this right? Thats crazy! I'm from Germany and a neuter is between 50€ and 80€. Means nearly the same in $.
What color is Wanda or what kind of pig. They are all adorable but she is beautiful!
I have 4 girls and want to adopt a male!! But he needs to be neutered. So did you keep the male nearby the girls when you kept him before/after neutering? Also where did you get him neutered (an exotic vet?) and how much did it cost? Thanks so much in advance if you see this and respond!!
what do you wash their fleece with ?
$600? Out of curiosity, is this the usual amount for guinea pig neutering in the US? Or is there a reason as to why it was this expensive? I adopted a 2 year old boar around 4 months ago and he is getting neutered soon and being introduced to 4 baby sows, so I was quiet shocked to hear how much it cost for Vision to be neutered. Amazing video as always! Your piggies are so precious and I'm so glad things worked :)
So glad it ended up working out! I just tried to bond two females and it didn't work out :(
I'm so happy this worked out! No pig deserves to be alone. Vision has such great coloring too. 😍
My male guinea pigs rumble strut and teeth chatter regularly. Is that normal?
How was your. Unter so expensive??? Mine was like 70 not $600!
I have a guinea pig named Kevin
Uwuu im excited!!!
Winston is jelous of Vision I bet
Do you think that neutering the boys made them more chill? I’ve heard that neutering won’t change their temperament like they do for dogs etc but I really want to try it if it does. I have two very stubborn boars who are beside eachother but want them to be together and was wondering if neutering one might do the trick. Let me know! Thank you ❤️

No, neutering males won't change their behavior toward other males.
@anaph8552

Like you said, neutering won't affect their temperament, but it will take out a lot of hormones which CAN (not always will) make some piggies indeed more chill and calm. I also made the experience that other males might react less aggressive towards a neutered male. But it was only in one case, so don't take my word for granted on this one. I guess your boars are either brothers from the same litter or grew up without an adult male? Then the issue with them is that they lack a proper socialization. The thing with guinea pigs (and especially with males) is that, they need to be raised by social and adult (1,5 + years old) guinea pigs from whom they can learn social behavior, how to get along, being submissive, deciding a peck order, etc. 2 males who were adopted out as babies can never learn this behavior, since they have no adults to learn from. So once they reach puberty (both at the same time, which makes it even worse), they will most likely clash, fight and later on very hard to bond with other males. Neutering won't make up for the lack of socialization! But it provides you with the option to pair each of them up with a female, since it's quite hard to bond an unsocial male (it's even worse if both of them are unsocial). It's actually quite simple, but not a lot of people realize that - you can't expect two human toddlers to raise themselves. No, they need social grown-ups to raise and teach them how to live peacefully in a society. It's with every species. Humans, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.

@@anaph8552 Thank you for all the information! Yeah unfortunately I’m not too sure what their upbringing was as they are rescues but I do know that one of them was raised with a rabbit (poor guy). I’ll keep that in mind though! I suppose it’s time to get some girls :)
a grl named Kyle? Lol

Would neutered males be easier to bond to each other?
@anaph8552
Жыл бұрын
It's hard to say, since every guinea pig is different. A rambunctious neutered male will not be necessarily easier to bond than a calm and submissive intact male. What really makes guinea pigs easier to bond is a good socialization. Meaning, the piggies were raised by at least one (in my experience, it's even better to have at least two for one baby) social and adult male pig. Guinea pigs who were raised inside a peaceful and friendly male herd, and got neutered as babies (3-4 weeks, so taking out their hormones even before they start to kick in) are in my experience the easiest to bond and integrate into another male herd. They fit right in without making too much of a fuss, since they learned how to get along with different males of different personalities, ages, ect. And the peaceful herd also usually accepts them without any issues. I have male herds for over 6 years now (all of my boys are/were neutered and rescues) and I can definitely see a difference between my males who were born and raised inside a herd and my new 2 males who didn't have the best socialization as babies, but luckily were still young enough to learn from my older males. But it took them a long time to get used to live peaceful in a herd (they really challenged my boss pig a lot - needless to say, they got their little butts get kicked by him a lot as well, lol).
